The K3G point really resonates with me. I rewatched it recently, after not seeing it for fifteen or so years. I can't say I really remembered that much of Hrithik and Kareena. But on the re-watch, the two of them saved the movie for me, and frankly, Hrithik's performance holds up much better than SRK's.

But then again, the movie wouldn't be the same without SRK. I think the movie rides on SRK-Kajol and AB-Jaya's established onscreen chemistry and then Hrithik's star power ... in that order.

I liked him in Koi Mil Gaya, from an acting perspective. But like others films of his too like MDK and Kaho na pyaar hai.

Especially for a first film with Kaho Na, he was fab! Screen presence was that of a seasoned actor.
