~ gobi13 -- I have mixed feels about the promo like you; am not sure if nimra and rohaan will actually happen. plus nimra seems to be tired of being stuck in the middle and feeling blamed for things she did not do. so it looks like nimra actually refuses the proposal. lets see what happens next week though.

U know if I was nimra, I would take this proposal n run. Like roohan is soo nice, he has a job a house. He would take care of her. Yes the mom might be an issue at first but we have seen she isn’t out n out evil n dumb like the sisters n the dad. She would in time accept her.

exactly! but I think nimra is not ready to marry anyone really. more than anything, she wants to be independent where she is allowed to laugh and say what she wants without fear. so on some level, she might feel like she is forever going to be stuck with this horrid family with no escape! but I find it interesting in the preview that tufail says that he won't give samreen but is okay if the alliance was for nirma. is he trying to insult his sister by saying "sorry di but you said no when I asked for shiza and so here is second best. feel bad like I did"... but yea, looks like we have more sisters squabbling and everyone getting frustrated with each other. don't see why nimra can't just get a job or opt for some higher studies and move out of the house to another city altogether...

I found the co-workers rather hilarious. no one gets why basit married shiza. if the co-workers don't get it, then am in good company. 😂 shiza is nutso but in this instance, even I get where she is coming from -- if he is not in it for the company and he hates the freebies or the riches he could possibly get, then why on earth would he agree to marry an ill-tempered brat and stand there getting insulted? I really don't get it...

and basit complaining that he feels so unsettled and feels alone at work, at home -- umm, stupid man, you decided to take this action for no real reason. you are supposedly having a soft corner for nimra but then you marry her stepsister. righto, that makes so much sense. (me eye rolling at this writer's logic)... so yea, I was more amused by the co-workers boldness than feeling sorry for basit.

also basit - shiza scene lacked firepower. what exactly is he threatening her with? he has zero power just like nimra and almaas. he is also bowing down to tufail's requests. so shiza technically has more power than him. if he had pointed out that she is also living on daddy's money and is also bumming around and has no voice to talk -- then I would have clapped. in this case, it was just a hmmm from me.

It’s tht he doesn’t accept nimra as his own. He thinks she is a lower class girl. So him telling his sister to take nimra is saying roohan only deserves a lower class girl and not a daughter of mine.

I hate when serials try to make it seem like this is some great act of love while the audience is like "dumbo!" 😂

so much fireworks and poor nimra caught in the middle when she didn't even do anything. almaas as usual giving the usual gyaan to her daughter to just bear with it. sometimes more than shiza, you feel like almaas needs to get a good slap. the woman is her own enemy.

it looks like rohaan initially said he will marry nimra because he was so annoyed with tufail. he understood that his uncle was insulting his mom with a backhanded slap and gave it back. however, he now seemed genuinely upset when nimra told him no.

he really seems to understand nimra and her situation really well -- nimra's weakness is her love for her mom and everyone takes advantage of that and treats her badly as a result. he also told very clearly that while samreen might like him lots, he does not feel the same way about her. he basically agreed because of his mom but had no real strong feelings about this alliance.

what I found interesting was there was a slight shift during the phone call -- nimra called him rohaan instead of rohaan bhai for the first time. wonder how this will all play out. tufail is super stubborn and doesn't look like he is going to change his mind. rohaan is also likely to dig his heels in. nimra poor thing is desperate for some peace and also approval from tufail. maybe basit needs to have a little chat with rohaan?

ooh the preview looks interesting. tufail is not changing and it looks like rohaan is also fed up and says strongly that he will also not marry samreen. so what next? will the conversation go back to nimra again?

did anyone else watch the episode last night? what did you think? I re-watched it again and as twisted as tufail is, he does have a point. shamsa didn't just reject shiza because she wanted samreen for rohaan, she also rejected shiza because she has a very low opinion of shiza. maybe it is because shiza is very much in your face, that shamsa is more aware of the character of shiza. however, samreen as her younger sister also shares the same level of pettiness, insecurities, manipulation that gets displayed towards nimra and almaas. so if shamsa despises shiza, then at some point, she will also despise samreen for the same as the two sisters are quite alike in some ways. so tufail may be right in that this may not be right match for samreen.

shiza weirdly enough is not able to see that tufail is taking revenge and wants to humiliate shamsa by suggesting nimra for rohaan. instead, it is all about what samreen wants. notice that no one ever says that rohaan wants samreen. it is like everyone knows that on his end, this is more a logical, arranged marriage kind of match for him. he really does not care either way. found it interesting that he said after shiza's insults, he has firmed up his decision. so basically shiza saying that nirma somehow seduced rohaan felt like an insult to him and that angered him even more. in some sense, he knows that shiza despises him as well?

@kadu13 @bluewaters20 @dreamstar77- at this point, am not sure if rohaan will marry nimra but I sincerely hope he does not marry samreen. both of these sisters need to learn that they will not always get their way through temper tantrums. they need to be taught a lesson and for that rohaan is the first slap they should get. what do you think?
