Ok so many people seems to believe that this is the real Mandar and not an imposter.

Pallavi, who values her manglasutra, will be stuck between two husbands. Mandar, she liked and valued as a friend and was ready to start on a life journey with. Raghav, whom hatred has turned to love and whom she cannot live without.

Even if Mandar was declared dead in the eyes of the law and Raghav & Pallavi’s marriage is legal, morally, Pallavi will see herself married to him.

I don’t think Indian TV is ready to see a woman divorcing a good man and then marry another. A widow is accepted but a woman with two husbands won’t ever be. Unfortunately, India is a hypocritical country where men can have several marriages or even relationships but god forbid if women did.

Hence why I keep saying original Mandar died 2 years ago and this Mandar is an imposter.

Hope so. But divorce or annulment is also an option

Pallu-Mandar are not married anymore: They are living separately over 2 years - that marriage is annulled already.

I agree with your point that ITV will not show their female lead leaving a good man for a seemingly bad man (we all know Raghav is even better than the average "good man" 😛).

That being said, I think Mandaar will not be a good man. I think his past will unravel and we'll see that he wasn't always walking the straight and narrow path and I think that's how Pallavi's decision to choose Raghav over Mandaar will be justified.

I don't agree with it at all. Pallavi should choose the man she loves and wants to willingly spend the rest of her life with, not the man she is obligated to spend the rest of her life with. Khair... let's see how all this unfolds what with the channel's interference and the TRP game.

Frankly, I want the original Mandar to have been good and was murdered because he witnessed a crime.

I want Pallavi to have been fortunate enough to have two good husbands alongside two wonderful mother-in-laws.

Mandar was pure and good in Pallavi’s eyes so I don’t want that to change. She doesn’t deserve to have her trust and respect in him destroyed.

I want this to be an imposter for that reason and this will reveal the true killer.

The marriage is not annulled.

They can apply for divorce on the grounds of living separately.

But that is mostly taken into consideration if both the spouses are living separately for 7 years or more.

Otherwise, there are many conditions such as if one of the partner is impotent, or they didn’t consummate their marriage etc..

On these grounds they can appeal for divorce but the marriage won’t be declared void on the basis of Mandar missing for 2 years/

I don’t think Mandar and Pallavi need a divorce either because he was declared legally dead and it’s not bigamy if Pallavi got remarried so legally Raghvi marriage is valid. These are unforeseen circumstances but raghvi marriage won’t be annulled because Mandar happens to be alive.

He was declared dead officially so Pallavi and Mandar’s marriage is legally dissolved on grounds of death of spouse.

What you mentioned is applicable in case of missing spouse who is being presumed dead but to declare dead 7 years ka wait krna hota hai if no info found for that period I think.

Yeah that’s true.

If death certificate have been issued, then she is officially widow.

And if he wants to claim rights on Pallavi then I guess Mandar also needs to prove that he is the real Mandar for the marriage to sustain and the death certificate had been fake.

Mandaar might be an impostor; he might be real too

Sickand is known for breaking little stereotypes in the ITV--2 husbands and widow is one way of breaking the male stigma created by society
