My theory is ....

When RR was about to kiss Pallavi, she night got the panic attack (may be she got assaulted by someone before marriage) and everything revolve in her head and pushed RR in a moment of rage and as RR was not prepare and didn't see that coming, he became the cloth hanging to the nail... She might not first realize and turns immediately to the other side and might be apologizing him for the reflex action and when she didnt get any response, she turns back and see him as statue...

Memory loss or no loss i dont know until next few bts🤷
