Well, every place has its pros and cons. I like the Mumbai culture better (also probably cuz my roots are Mumbai). But Mumbai ki bheed bhaad has become too much these days.

But for girls, Mumbai is much safer, Mumbaikars are more helpful and people follow rules more there.. Delhi main showbaazi bhi zyada lagti hai mujhe. But living there can be hell of expensive if you don't have a house.

Long ago, we did a project with an International engineering firm and they did work-sharing with their Delhi office... And it was not the best experience. Nothing against anyone but in terms of deadlines, safety codes etc - it was better off had they not involved that office. I remember eventually we had to send a team to stay there for some time overseeing the work up close and personal. I was not sent because of safety issues and our company's safe workplace policy.

And in contrast, within India only ... one project dealt with an office in Bangalore and it was much better - not the best but definitely better and it could be handled without sending any team there.

Delhi ke people are helpful too, and showbaazi depends on your circle.
