Bachna Ae Haseeno (2008): Entertaining and cute

Watched Bachna Ae Haseeno after a long time and enjoyed every bit of it. It's damn funny and has a corny side to it as well. I don't remember whether it worked at the box-office or not, but I loved the chemistry between Ranbir and Deepika especially in the song Khuda Jaane.

Full-on entertaining, I wonder why it's not discussed often on this forum?

I also loved the Ranbir-Bipasha chemistry in this one, and she looked damn hot.

Overall, it was such a blast from the past!!! Loved it!!!

I love Bipasha and Ranbir's portion in the film. ❤️ Though, I haven't watched it since years!

Decent watch and a hit. I liked him best with Bipasha, should have ended up with her.

I saw the movie a few days ago.

Bips and Ranbir was an unusual pairing but they looked so good together! Deepika and Ranbir were great as always.

Lucky Boy (very underrated) and Khuda Jaane are my favourites from the album.

I think I was a bit disappointed when it first came out.

But I've revisited it and it's a whole ass mood.

The soundtrack is AMAZING.

Ranbir in the first half is too wannabe-SRK. But we warm to him. Bips got nominated but Deepika gave a VERY strong performance. Although the shy/nervous energy of her dialogue deliveries was still there, she had SPARK.

But MINISSHA LAMBAH steals the show for me. At the time I didn't think much of it, but now her performance just shines the most for me. So underrated. The stern face she has in the second half, and when she cries, uffff.

TRIVIA: Did y'all know that Katrina Kaif was signed up to do a role in the movie? She would've been the 4th love interest but (obviously) they realised it would be too much so they chopped her role. IMAGINE!!!

Also, Preity Zinta was supposed to do one of the roles, but she dropped out. I wonder which one it was.

A very boring movie probably based on Ranbir's real life.

I totally agree! RK was annoying and slappable, in the first half but the ladies were great! Minisha in particular

A case of life imitating art.


Ranbir leaves the first girl because she was a hopeless romantic and he felt they were "too young" to commit, and the girl ends up depressed. (Deepika in real life).

But he comes back, apologies and the girl finally moves on and reconciles with her husband. (how Deepu married Ranveer😆)

He then gets an affirmative & hopeful girlfriend (Katrina in real life) And just when she decides to take the next step in their relationship, he leaves her too. 🥺

The girl becomes a hurt, rigid woman focusing solely on her career. (how Katrina is these days)

He then meets the third girl who is ambitious & hardworking ( Alia in real life) and manages to get through him. He finally realizes it is time to settle.😆😆 (hopefully he marries Alia)
