Seriously right, if there was an alternate universe where Urmi raised her kids, I would love to read that story and see how different their lives would be.

PS: Gauri, kind of like King-the eternal monarch. How different the lives of each character is in that story.

If Urmi had raised Kirti, there were chances that she would have grown up to be a snob and would have fit right with the likes of Sana & rest of the troupe. And if that had happened, Nishit would never have fallen in love with her 😁Basically, kahani shuru hone ne pehle hi khatam ho jaati 😆

Way to go kirthi for standing up to Mrs ohja and not giving in. I’m liking this new found strength in her in some ways of her life. However, she needs to do better when it comes to Nishit. But it seems she has pulled the last straw and only now realizing what she has overlooked.

I was delighted when Shruti made an appearance. The conversation between her and kirthi was meaningful and much needed.

I do wonder what made Ahliya change her mind about Nishit? Does it have to do anything with the missing picture from Nishits study room?

How about if in the past Nishit as a teenager/kid (unknowingly ) had helped Urmi ? May explain her face paling in seeing his farmhouse pic.and the recent comment to him that she has now repaid a past favor of his 😊

Yep, I think I mentioned in one of my comments too. It does seem like Nishit has helped Urmi in some way when she was in trouble. In fact, I feel it happened at the farmhouse itself, where the photo was clicked.

Finally caught up with all the chapters....after a really long break and a vacation in between 😊

What can I say? I never had too much patience for people who refused to listen to what another person had to say and rather jumped to conclusions. While it may seem pointless for Kirti to not listen to Nishit, it would at least take her mind off her own problems. But then again, she has started to look...really look at the people around her. I am enjoying her character development though she really frustrated me. I like the way you have written her. The slow growth of her character is much more believable than the sudden 'clueless FLs turning into overnight know-it-alls' the countless dramas we have watched would have us believe.

Nishit....I am assuming we have a lot left of him for you to reveal. It is interesting how perceptions and Tejas's downright underhandedness have made Kirti perceive him so different from his true nature. I wait for the day when she realizes he is so different from what she had thought him to be. I am not saying that some of the faults doesn't lie with him(especially his behavior during the night of the party) but then again the story is mostly from Kirti's POV.

Tejas seems to be having a lot of psychological issues. He needs a therapist. I wonder why no one caught on to it before. Does he realize that his every action seems to be against Nishit? He wants what Nishit wants and gets jealous of Nishit even for the mundanest of things. Sana liked Nishit and he decided he wanted Sana. He noticed Kirti get interested in Nishit and he was jealous because he found her first? It is classic. Did he always covet Nishit's two-parent household? I forgot whether his mother died or his parents divorced. I don't think he ever got out of the trauma. Really needs a therapist!

Another character that is really intriguing to me is that of Urmi. I can't wait to see what you have in store for us regarding her.

BTW, what's up with Mayank? No reason to agree to the marriage just because then Kirti would have married that Aggarwal. Really....I can't think of the reason for his reasoning. What does he have against that Aggarwal? And why should that spur him into agreeing to the marriage? If at all, it should have come as a huge relief to him since he would not see his friend suffer at the same time wouldn't have been caught in a situation he clearly didn't want. And it looks like he has a girlfriend too(to be honest, I am somewhat disappointed he didn't turn out to be gay 😛) Guy is a real weirdo. Again, the closer you are to a person, the murkier their character becomes.

In my mind, the rest of the characters are secondary ones. I am not too concerned about them. 😃

Honestly, this phase of the book is a little hard to read, GN but you have definitely done a commendable job. I love how emotionally distanced Kirti truly is with regards to her marriage and 'in-laws'. I also love how despite the societal norms and practices, how neither she nor Nishit are able to stop thinking about each other. I look forward to the day when she and Nishit would let go of their prejudices and talk to each other.

I hope you have been doing good otherwise. Any new dramas that have caught your fancy of late? I am so psyched that Hospital Playlist is back on. Caught up with the first few episodes and was immediately sucked into it the way I was during the first season. It did not feel as though the characters went on a break at all which was such a pleasant surprise.

I am not watching anything these days. Life is a bit busy rn.

I had been watching Praomook's short clips on Ch3 channel (without subs). Hero's character became a jerk so had to give up on it.

There was another old drama I found which started off good. But again the same disappointment of a non consensual - dubious scene.

He does not force himself on her as such. But he clicks their pictures together while she is sleeping (and is in a state of undress) and sends it to the second male lead to prove his point. I was disgusted! Even if he is supposed to be an antihero there are certain lines one shouldn't cross. I dropped the drama then and there. No sort of redemption can redeem him in my eyes. I was really disappointed because it had started off so well. The girl was feisty and the guy was Darcy-ish. I actually saw how the mighty fell for her. There was this whole subtle shift in his body language, in his expressions, and the way his eyes sought her. There was no need to Wickham-ize him!
