Talking of retirement at the right age , I suggest watch mike Tyson's last fight in which he openly and candidly admits He no longer had the stamina nor the inclination to fight .... It was disheartening to watch a legend go down like a sack of potatoes to a rookie boxer whom in his prime days Tyson would have floored with just one punch in flat two minutes.....

Second name that comes to my mind is pistol pete who I think retired at the right time after losing to Federer....

हो, पण तरीही i think बोरिस बेकर(हा मला माझ्या लहानपणी प्रचंड आवडायचा), Ivan lendle, मेकानरो, मार्टिना हे सगळे थोडे जास्त खेळले.

त्या बाबतीत steffi एकदम परफेक्ट. 1999 मध्ये ती Wimbledon final मध्ये devenport कडून हरली..7-5, 6-4 . तिने ताबडतोब retirement घेतली. ति त्या वर्षीच्या US OPEN साठी सुद्धा नाही थांबली.

Even धोनी सुद्धा..2019 च्या world cup मध्ये ऐन महत्वाचा क्षणी जेव्हा तो run out झाला , तेव्हाच खरं तर सगळं संपला होता.

पण ठीक आहे, प्रत्येकालाच वाटत असतं की आपण अजून थोडा वेळ काम करू, खेळू, तेवढेच जास्त पैसे मिळतील.(हा मुद्दा कितीही नाकारला,तरी असतोच ना)
