I felt for rono as much as virat. Here they made virat extrovert sometimes( that’s the problem). Rono is really a man of few words! He is very sensitive. And the actor brought it out well. Every time rono cries you feel like reaching out to him and putting words in his mouth. I might be in the minority here, but CVs should not diverge from characters just to provide entertainment 🤭 sorry! They make virat flirty but not give enough words to convey his feelings!!! That’s character assassination. That’s why we feel confused. Virat personality is that he reads people and his reactions are based on what he understands. He will not utter a single word if he is not sure! Here virat talks too much sometimes and we keep wondering why he can’t confess his love. In KD you sympathize with the guy that he is not reading sai correctly.

Sorry for the rant! But CVs are diverging from the characters just to provide us entertainment.

I sometimes feel the same too. That Virat IS Rono but making Virat softer, kinder only added to the confusion.

You must be the only one who has sympathy for Rono as far as I have seen. 😆Most people cannot connect with him at all.

Rono is a man of high values and also sensitive. He is definitely not charming as virat. Rono is kind! He is a good police man.. Just because he doenst speak much, he will be misunderstood 😳 May be I project virat over him so that could be the reason to see him in different light. 😅

I never felt he loved emon any lesser than virat loves sai. 😅 but given the two I like virat because of the nuances he brings out.

if they just show virat and sai the way they are in the script, trust me you will connect with the story better. This I am saying without understanding 50% of dialogues. Just their acting and emotions. 👍

@bold Now you are confusing me. 😅 You mean to say Virat is better in some sense and Rono is better in other aspects? (I mean from the point of view of characterization?).

P.S: You write with so much empathy and compassion, that I feel a soft touch in my heart when I read your posts.❤️

nuances means the way he emotes his expressions towards sai.. the extra glance, the extra tear and the extra comfort level. You SEE his love more. And he makes it easy to understand where he is in terms of feelings with sai. Just saying this at actor level not character level

Thanks and please don’t take my opinion and alter your views on the characters. I am just putting it out what I felt. I did like the KD story so hoping to see the same here. If we keep the momentary confusions aside, I am glad we signed up for a good show with great leads!

I personally didn't like Rono's character at all. There was the language barrier for me because it wasn't in Hindi, so maybe that was part of it. But, I just felt like he didn't show his feelings and often times came across as indifferent towards not just his wife, but also the other characters. On the other hand, I can literally see the love pouring out of Virat. In fact, while I was first drawn to the show because of how realistic Sairat's relationship progression was and how natural their chemistry was, what sealed the deal for me was the "you are my family scene." In that scene, even though Sairat weren't in love in the romantic sense per se (although sparks were already there), you could sense and feel every single one of their emotions...you could feel how deeply Sai was hurt and how much Virat regretted hurting her. You could see the redemption in his eyes, especially the next day when he grabbed her arm and immediately let it go, remembering what he had done to her and how much he had pained her.

After that, Virat did the other kaand of throwing Sai out of the house in the middle of the night, and everyone erupted. Rightfully so. What he did was absolutely unacceptable. But, even when he was kicking her out of the house, you could see how much it was hurting HIM. His expression was one of anger, but also one of pain... and again, the redemption was done so beautifully. When he cried, we cried with him. One scene that stood out in particular was him talking to the KJ box Sai gave him... he acknowledged how horrible of a person he was towards Sai...and of course the GC scene was heartbreaking, because you could see the love in both of their eyes...

Despite how Sairat's relationship started, they have cared for each other since the moment they laid eyes on each other. The connection has always been there. Despite all the talk about zimidari and vaada to paapi, Sairat have always been connected.... and we have sensed and felt that from the episode in which they first met. To me, they are soulmates in a way that the KD leads never were. They are on another level.

And since the ousting kaand has happened, we have seen their relationship grow and progress in a way that is completely different than KD. Rono was never this in love... Virat is full blown whipped for Sai. I personally feel that at this point, it would be completely out of character for Virat to accuse Sai on cheating on him and for Sai to then attempt suicide. Yes, Virat has changed a lot and is madly in love, but he is also insecure and unsure of how Sai feels about him, just like Sai is too. This will always be a barrier in their relationship until the confession happens, because even though they can see the love for each other in their actions, they can never put it into words and they avoid talking about it...using zimidari, etc etc to get out of those conversations. And, a part of Virat's character is also his impulsivity and he has his patriarchal tendencies, which I attribute to his upbringing. So, a misunderstanding a blown up fight... I will gladly accept. If anything, it will only make their bond stronger. But, him character assassinating Sai will simply not make any sense.

Not just Virat, Sais also a lot more sensitive, soft, in this version. She is very vocal about her care, her insecurity, her issue with pp, her pain of not being accepted…everything has been portrayed by the actor n makers with more warmth. The GC and hospital scenes of ghkkpm had a much less sarcastic and more hurt Sai.in GC Sai even feels bad to see Virat folding hands n all. She is not taking revenge on him. She was never disrespectful in GC despite her gussa. In Hospital track and after that this version has Sai much more uninhibited about displaying her care for Virat sir and also her annoyance with pp. she is pretty direct in showing Virat what her issue is. So Sai n Virat are better than Imon rono in terms of display of affection and also how much they care about each other. Virat recognizes it is love, but Sai doesn’t. She is still figuring it out and it’s understandable. She is younger, less experienced and it will take her longer to get past her spouse having had a past. But both their insecurities will not disappear yet. It takes time. But they are at a stage in their relationship where after all the dramas that have happened they wouldn’t do anything in a rush. They’d be more cognizant of the other person too. Sai would never go as far as suicide and Virat would measure his words- more than Rono. So if they show KD plot, it’ll not fit with our Sairat….

My feelings exactly ❤️

I also just watched the suicide scene of KD and to me, it was done without any emotion almost... Rono was standing downstairs while his wife didn't open the door and when they finally got inside the room, he just stood their frozen without any emotions on his face...even their conversation in the hospital afterwards was really emotionless to me..

Praying that we don't have to bear this torture of this track and the destruction of our SaiRat, but worst case, if it does happen, I am 10000% sure that it will be done very emotionally...because I still refuse to accept that our Veeru would ever accuse his baiko of such vile actions and that she would attempt suicide, but if Vanku decides to copy-paste, then I can't even imagine the sheer regret ACP will feel afterwards and Neil will portray it effortlessly and amazingly as usual...

Was there anything like today's episode in KD? Did they actually talked openly like SaiRat did today?
