Ch1

The guilt

"Dham" the constant unhappy ending of his nightmares. In those years there wasn't a single night when he didn't receive nightmares as his gift. He was used to it. But he was unaware of a fact that if same nightmares constantly haunt anyone then the nightmares are processing to become reality........

He freshened up. His body had seriously become a still and unaffected one. But never he knew that he will have to become something that he never wanted to be.

He placed his hand on the either side of the mirror suddenly he remembered the whole incident. Now reality started consuming his brain. She didn't shout at him instead she asked for a reason........ A reason to hate him...... He looked at himself and got back his stern look...

He came out of his room and found everything normal like the other days . He had his breakfast and bidden a bye to everyone. He drove towards the court. He did his work for two to three hours and to his surprise she didn't come. He thought she must have been in a bad mood.

He came back to the haveli. He went to his guards and stood there for a while. Then he heard the sound of anklets as if a girl is running. He got it .... It's her .....

Catching her breathe she spoke "Sakha Babu" He turned immediately. His hand forming a perfect 90° angle ,his gun pointing towards her,his index finger almost pressing the trigger to release the bullet but his eyes closed as if he still didn't want to see her.

Her eyes widened a lone tear escaped from her eyes. But she stood still.

"Dhud" he pressed the trigger completely he thought that she might have ran away for the sake of her life but soon another thud.

He immediately opened his yes there she was fallen on the ground. Tears rolled down his face and immediately a smile approached her face.

Nightmare came true

He couldn't get it .... What did he do ? What happened ? He sat down on the floor to look at her ..... To look at her for the first time or may be the last time.....He was just crying and crying. Tears had become permanent in his eyes. He felt his dead heart beating again that too restlessly.

Her eyes were open she was blinking occasionally. The bullet shot her just a little above her collar bone. She broke the silence breathing heavily as she felt a sheer pain "nothing will happen ..... I still ...... Ha.....Have a great life ahead ..... Isi bahaane.... aapne mujhe dekha toh sahi" then she started breathing even more heavily. She opened her arm as if she wanted to hug him but he didn't have the courage.... but still he hugged her ... He only cried then suddenly wiping his tears he shouted "Somnath"

There was already a commotion. Trilochan , Sampoorna , Somnath all gathered because of Ani's scream. They all were astonished to see a girl in Anirudh's embrace. Somnath went closer. Anirudh gave him a signal and he understood.

He took her with him. He went to his clinic. Anirudh didn't go with him instead he stood there almost drenched in her blood. Her face continuously smacking his brain. "Uthaiye mujhe. Kaka , Sampoorna uthadijiye mujhe. Mujhe pata hai yeh ek sapna hai. Phirse....... Mujhe nehi dekhna yeh sapna..... Please" he cried after eight years.

Sampoorna approached him " kya woh Bondita thi" she shuddered in her heart. The reply she got she almost fainted.

"Yeh hua kaise"asked Trilochan.

Before Anirudh could reply a soundful group arrived them. It was thakuma and her toli. Chandrachur got closer "kahaan chhupaya hai use"

Anirudh felt an urge to shoot him but he suppressed his feelings. He worked as a mastermind and asked cleverly "kise?"

"Tumhein nehi pata?? ya phir dikhawaa kar rahe ho??"asked Thankumaa looking at Sampoorna who was crying.

Anirudh looked at Sampoorna and gave her a stern look and she stopped crying and got some idea to protect her family. She spoke"aap yeh sab baad mein niptaayega barrister babu..... Saswati subah se nehi khaa rahi hai..... meri madad kijiye"

"Lag raha hai naatak kar rahe hain yeh log thakumaa"said Candrachur.

"Maa apni bachchi ko lekar jhut nehi bolti" saying so Sumati went to Anirudh and kneeled down on the ground and begged "is maa ko bhi apni beti louta dijiye"

Anirudh spoke " Maf kijiye mere paas sirf dard aur dard hi hai aur aapki beti mere paas nehi hai mere paas bas meri......tanhaai hi hai..... Galti humari hai par sazaa use nehi milegi"saying so he turned around.

Sumati again spoke but now more furiously "kya us din chot nehi pahonchaya tha aapne nehi kiya tha kya meri beti par waar.... Nehi toda tha kya uska dil........ Aapke paas toh uske liye naffratt hai uske paas aapke siva koi nehi hai.... Galat kaha aapne ...... Aapke paas dusmani hai dard nehi aur uske paas sirf aur sirf tanhaai..... Naatak kiske saamne kar rahe hain ..... Aapke shirt par lage yeh khoon saaf bataa rahe hain ki meri Bondita aaphi ke paas hai"

She stood up and continued " dusmani ... Dushmani dushmani sun sun kar thak gayi hai woh.......... Aur Sampoorna aainda apne bachche ko lekar jhoot mat bolna...... Aur aap hifaazat nehi kar sakte toh chot bhi mat pohonchaiye.."

she turned around to return but Anirudh stopped her and spoke" kal bhi uski hifaazat maine ki thi aur aaj bhi karta hun aur aage bhi karunga .... Aur aap logon se behetar karunga..."said Anirudh pointing towards thakumaa and others.....

Listening to Anirudh's words Thakumaa, Chandrachur got furious but Sumati spoke

"Aaj se balki abhi se Bondita ko apni haalat mein chhod dijiye yeh meri aap tino se prarthana hai"She said and forced all of them to return and they all returned

"Goli markar hifaazat karenge aap"spoke Sampoorna "ise kehte hain aap hifazat...... Agar hifazat ka matlab yeh hai toh daya karke hifazat mat kijiye uski"she ran away after saying so.

Meanwhile Somnath spoke to Anirudh"Bondita is a little recovered as the bullet is successfully taken out of her body but she was injured severely. It wasn't so close to her heart so it was easy for her to at least live. But any type of pressure she would repaint severely."

A fresh tear rolled down his face as if his heart is breaking
