But they will separate na and Adilie will unite, right??
Yes they will separate. Adilie will unite. But it isn't according to the show. It's different.
Malini's character shall not be like how they are showing currently. Infact a lot will be different. But all of this is later since to reach that part of the story is a journey even.
But Malini is NOT a negative character. She's positive throughout
Part 24: Faisla
She looked towards him only to find him sitting with his eyes closed and fists clenched. It seemed like he was controlling himself with great difficulty. Her heart broke seeing him that because she understood how and why he was such. Her hands gently grazed her nuptial chain even as she let a few tears fall down her eyes.
He on the other hand was drowned in utter turmoil. The priest's words, the dhaba owner's wife's words, their marriage, promises given to Malini, flashes of his family - everything ran in his head like a movie, attacking him all at once. He could feel his emotions and thoughts splattering all over the place as his being was in chaos. His eyes moved towards her only to see her clutching the nuptial chain and crying softly. Something shifted within him at that sight and he couldn't help but burst out!
"This marriage means nothing to me!" he spat startling her. Her eyes snapped open even as she looked at him. It took her a moment to compose herself after which she looked at him, her face devoid of anything.
"I know" she calmly said.
She knew yet some part of her hoped he wouldn't say that. She dint know why she had such an absurd hope even. And now it was crushed! She controlled her tears from pooling her eyes. Instead, she put her effort to hold up to hear his words for she knew, it wasn't his fault that he loved somebody else, that he had to go through what he did!
He stilled for a moment for he dint know what to make of that. Her face devoid of anything, her tone calm - this disturbed him more than her tears. Irritated by where his thoughts were leading, he put his entire attention to the outrage and anger he felt. He let his mind overpower him acting oblivious to his heart.
"You know very well I love Malini and there cannot be anybody else for me! Nobody else can take her place. NOBODY!" he thundered while she just sat the same way. She dint let her inner feelings reflect on her face because she needed him to get out all that he had stored within himself from the time they exited the forest.
"I don't and cannot believe or accept this marriage which is illegal! So I cannot take you with me to my house. If Malini would come to know, she would completely shatter. I had promised her I'll never leave her and that we'll marry once I return. She'd be distraught. I can't do that to her! " he said his voice shaking.
"What about me then? What should I do Babusaheb? Please let me know!" she said politely, bringing in a lot of effort for preventing her voice from shaking.
"I'll arrange for something when we reach there. Just forget this marriage! Just assume everything was just a bad dream! Just don't cling on due to what you'd get by this" he said callously and sharply, his words piercing her heart. She understood what his words meant and that hurt her more. Did he think she was so cheap? Despite whatever happened, isn't he aware of her character? How could he even assume such things? But she was too drained out in all aspects. She was in pain, in disbelief, in confusion. She dint know what to do or whom to turn to. So she just nodded and settled her head against the pillow, closing her eyes.

Bidding goodbye to the Dhaba owner and his wife and thanking them for their help, the two set out to Delhi, this time sitting at the roof of the bus considering people were less there. She was dressed in a plain yellow churidar, her hairs left open. Her handles had the alta still and now instead of the red-green bangles, there were the silver bangles he had gifted considering she had nothing else with her. Her ears were adorned with silver jhumkis. Her nuptial chain, toe rings and casket of sindoor along with her bridal attire had been placed in her potli. She had changed over at the house because she knew there was no point of wearing it when he dint believe in it and was leaving her as well. Also, she had clearly seen they reminded him again and again of their forced marriage and so she had removed them, much to his astonishment because had believed he would have to tell her specifically that she had to remove them.
The two sat facing the opposite side since they dint want to look at each other, lost in their own pains and thoughts. When they reached Delhi, he got off immediately, not even looking back towards her. She swallowed painfully and got down clutching her potli to her test in a tight grip. Her forlorn eyes couldn't help but look around considering she was new to the city but they dint have the awe or excitement she thought would be evident in them whenever she would dream of visiting the city.
"Get into the taxi" he said already getting into the front seat. She nodded even though he wasn't looking and got into the backseat. As the cab travelled into the city, she looked out of the window trying to distract herself from this monotonous state she has been in since the jungle happenings while he just made a few calls to arrange for her.

When she had dreamt of coming to the city to fulfil her dreams, she had dreamt of different colours. Each colour signified a certain emotion according to her. Red signified anger, blue signified sadness, yellow signified joy, green signified envy, purple signified pride, black signified moroseness or darkness and white signified fear. Different colours signified different human emotions which were present in every human and which shaded every situation. These were what, she believed, shaped us. And so even when she had dreamt of her life in the city, she had dreamt of her struggles and implication of these shades in life and circumstances as well. Her life wasn't anyway a path of roses and hence her dreams too did not imbibe them. But she felt she would brave all of it like she had done all these years.
But never even in her wild dreams had she expected this kind of situation or this kind of entry to the city!

Part 25: Hifazat
The jerk caused by the abrupt stopping of the taxi broke her out of her thoughts. She saw him deboard and so she also followed, clutching her potli in her hand. He was standing at a distance, speaking to a middle-aged woman. She hesitantly moved towards them and stood a few steps behind. An unsettling feeling emerged within her rendering her a lot restless, leading her to fidget in her place.
He turned towards her and saw her fidgeting in her place and he understood, she was a lot nervous. He moved towards her and said
"Listen"
"Ji?" she looked up and he couldn't help but remember that his mother answered his father in the same way. He grew uncomfortable at this thought but also felt some unknown emotion course through him. He shook his head.
"What happened?" she asked confused by his silence and apparent shaking of head which she dint understand was for what.
"N-no nothing! This is an NGO. Basically I have told them that you are an orphan from the village looking for job and pursuing education. These people specialise in that. You'll be safe here and you'll be able to continue your education as well" he said.
She just nodded wordlessly not understanding what else to do and looked down as she could feel tears stinging her eyes. Pushing them back with the maximum effort she could muster at the present moment, she clutched her potli and looked up at him. Smiling a small smile, she said Jai Sita Maiyaa ki and moved away from him, passing him to move towards the entrance. As she moved away from him, he lingered for a moment more after which he just walked away.

She was about to step into the building when a hand pulled at her hairs forcefully, making her drop her potli. She was about to shout when another hand covered her mouth, muffling the sound of the shriek which escaped her mouth soon after. The man was masked and hence she dint know who it was. Before she knew it, she was pulled forcibly towards the forest like land right opposite which led to another entrance which was apparently closed. Tears escaped her eyes as fear took over her being.
"Dulari Kaki shall be so happy when she comes to know you are dead!" she heard a familiar voice speak into her ears and her eyes widened. She couldn't believe it!
She struggled with all her might to break free but failed. She pushed at his hand, her eyes holding her hurt and anger at this betrayal from the person she dint at all expect! But nothing worked as he continued to pull her. They had almost reached the other part and she knew she had to free herself before that. She would confront him after that!

"Babusaheb!" she called out his name silently because at this moment, he was all that she remembered.
She suddenly felt the grip from her hairs and mouth disappear even as she fell to the ground due to a jerk. She heard a loud thud, a groan of pain and looked up only to sigh in relief.
"Babusaheb" she softly called out relieved. He looked at her and his eyes which were raging softened a bit on their own accord. Slight reassurance was seen in his eyes assuring her she was safe.
He then looked towards the fallen man on the ground and his rage increased.
"Who are you and how dare you touch My Wife??" he thundered leaving Imlie utterly shocked!
The man just shook his head frantically and hurriedly getting up, ran away from the spot before anything else could be done.

"You okay?" he asked.
She nodded and with gratitude in her eyes said
"Thank You Babusaheb"
He just nodded.
She stood up and dusted her clothes, adjusting her dupatta. She then freed her hairs completely and gathering them tied them in a loose plait. She then walked towards the entrance and picked up her potli without glancing at him.
"Imlie?" he called out just as she was about to enter.
"Ji?" she asked as she turned.
"Come with me. You aren't safe here" he said and she stood watching him for a few moments before she shook her head and obliged.
___________________________________________________
"What will you tell your family?" she asked after a moment of silence.
He sighed. He himself dint know. What would he introduce her as?
She understood his dilemma from his silence. She took a deep breath and looked out of the window. Tears pooled her eyes and her throat clogged.
"Fruits of sin like you do not dream or hope for light. Your life shall always remain dark. If you think by studying you'll be able to rise, you are wrong! You are darkness Imlie and your life shall be submerged in darkness too. You can never rise beyond this! You are a servant and shall remain one"
Her Nani's words to her when she was 14 years old hadn't deterred her then. She did feel bad but she dint let it affect her then. But those words echoing in her ears at the present moment impacted her, which in turn drove her to this particular decision she took.
Taking a deep breath she called out
"Babusaheb?"
"Hmm?"
"I'm a maid accompanying you from the village who has come with you to the city because she needs a job" she said swallowing painfully.
"What? What nonsense is this?" he said taken aback.
"This is what you shall tell your family as to who I am and why I have come with you. There is no other reason which can be accepted apart from this unless you reveal the truth which we both don't want"
The mention of "the truth" pushed him to another zone entirely.
"Fine" he replied irritatedly.
Her heart shattered into pieces yet again and she chided herself for keeping that hope that he might refute and think of another way. Her hopes had yet again been crushed!
She dint know why it caused so much pain but it surely did. She closed her eyes and leaned against the window, trying to divert her thoughts yet again!
