I wouldn't blame Shruti too much; she was operating from a point where she sees Kirti, who had considered herself in love with Tejas for the longest time, post his engagement, showing an interest in Nishit his cousin. I am also wondering if it is Urmi who has sent Buta to safe guard Kirti.

If Buta has indeed fought with Nishit and was leaving from there, what if Urmi saw this and employed Ankit and sent him to the Ojhas as a tenant.

Urmi knows so much about the Ojhas, so it was easy for her to train him and send.

If true, then why now after so many years? Why is Urmi looking out for Kirti after so many years?

That thought did cross my mind. But I see Nishit's stamp all over it. The MO is similar to how he has operated in the past. He does things stealthily for her, while staying in the background. The notes for instance or paying on her behalf in school (I think it was for some donation). Also, Buta's entry happened right after their mall encounter where he noticed her burnt hand. And Buta is marketing his Bhaiyya quite aggressively at any opportunity he gets 😁 Could be just a coincidence.

But to your point, it could be Urmi too. The candy info is something she would have known too, right? She must have figured out that the Ojhas must be making Kirti's life hell. Now, your last question is a huge mystery. We don't know under what circumstances she left the house. Maybe she was under the impression her kids are well taken care of and hence never bothered. But now after looking at Kirti's situation she decided to do something about it?

I don't think so. She asked for some sort of information, which he was unwilling to share. He also thought she was dangerous based on what she was asking for. So that cannot be related to Kirti's house. Secondly, he doesn't know she is related to Kirti. His reaction would have been a lot stronger than what we saw if it was anything related to Kirti.

My guess is it could be related to either Navyam's company or the creepy Chacha. I even had Rimjhim in mind, but Nishit would have said something in defense if she had suggested anything against his Mom. She is probably asking him to do something unethical, but nothing too revolting.

I was also wondering about what Tejas said in regards to Nishit. What did he mean by "Was it not enough that one childish demand of his disrupted my entire world that he had to come after my friends too?" Could it be related to Tejas' Mom. Nishit always used to let Tejas have his way, as if he (Nishit) is guilty of something. He used to back out when Tejas is involved. Still does. He also never complained about Tejas getting all the attention of his parents, especially his Mom. That's the reason I am thinking Nishit may have been indirectly responsible for her Tejas' Mom's death 😕

I do remember pausing at that rant of his. Tejas mom died ? Somehow I thought his parents were divorced.

I assumed that if she was alive, it would have come up in conversation, right? And Tejas wouldn't live with his Bua if his Mom was alive. But I could be completely wrong.

I think you are right. It must be about the Prakash family company. Remember during the Diwali party, the father Prakash made a pass at her and it was more of a casting couch demand.

And since Nishit worked at their company, who better than him to give away inside info.

And Urmi also said right that he will get it to her ultimately.

I think Tejas's mom is dead. And his dad remarried a much younger woman. I think he did not marry immediately too. It was after a few years. Tejas was probably very close to his dad and once his dad remarried, his attention diverted towards the new young wife. Tejas felt abandoned and he moved to his Bua's house.
