The story that Ved told the other was that these two were in some car race when Raghav's car hit Mandhar.. By investigation I mean maybe he will (I think he should) try to find out who called Mandhar that night.. I know he is not even considering the possibility of this murder being part of a larger conspiracy to frame him..(maybe)... but now Pallavi is onto this case so he will be sucked in even if not willing.. and it may seem odd but she was actively looking for leads from the very beginning..call it her need for closure..or her need for justice wateva.. but just because she is now married to Raghav, doesn't mean she should drop the case especially when she got an important lead in the case..

If he would have denied it completely then Pallavi might have become suspicious.. and asked him for more info.. he wanted to end it there somehow.. anyway it was better excuse than I could have come up with ever if I was in his position😆

I agree with your point that why would Pallavi leave it and move on.. ofcourse she needs closure.. she was the one to become widow on the day of marriage and has been seeking answers. A family lost their son and nobody knows why...what happened which took Mandars life and why. It has nothing to do with her feelings for Raghav. Infact she feels he will help her which he would have otherwise..

few things could be considered OTT (but that’s how few scenes are these days )

Pallavi was trying to find out about Mandaar’s accident since beginning, now ring and birthday must’ve flamed her need to get closure again.

Exactly..she didn't go looking for the ring..which is why I feel it was planted by Ved because it happened right after the phone convo with Pallavi.. but point is, she didnt go looking for it..but when she found the ring, its natural to feel curious about how it got there ?? Raghav's house of all places ??? and she was looking for answers for so long ..so when she gets a clue that big, his wedding ring, then how can she just look the other way?

right , Raghav is being dumb by not telling her his nature will be major reason behind MU (if it happens)

Pallavi didn't feel it odd or suspicious that Raghav kept the wedding ring of the man he offered lift that night?😆 You either keep it to return it to the person it belongs to (which was not possible) or you hand it over to the police... Thing is its a deliberate move by the makers because the blinder the trust, the bigger the heartache when that trust breaks..

They could have been in shady business that she has some idea and hence doesnt want the past to be explored or opened up. Yes Amruta saw Raghav's panic attacks, informed Milind. Milind might confront Raghav and I do feel Raghav might confess what happened that night to Milind. He is the only balanced person in the D family at the moment.

@bold I was thinking of that too, reminded me of Tum Bin again where the dad knew. The plot twist would be if he told Ayi about it. Today it seemed as if she was curious about Amruta's statement. She might think that Raghav wasn't too happy about Pallavi being involved in her late husband's matters.

Helping the girl today reminded me of the scene where he was helping the old lady but his conscience was troubling him then like it is today. He would've helped the girl even if Pallavi hadn't been there but I feel the more he does wrong the more he does to compensate.

Glad to see him use the police and try to manipulate things, not because it's the right thing to do but it's what I'd expect RR to do. The only problem is that I also like the RR who isn't afraid to tell the truth.

I'm still hoping that he will keep blocking her attempts to learn the truth until one day he can no longer stand his inner turmoil and will then go and tell her himself. I am hoping he talks to Amma about this, though, or she sees him disturbed and finds out.

The fact that he could not stay at the Ds for too long and complete the pooja has to count for something. I think it's because he won't be able to pretend for too long.

I am so glad they reminded us that she used to go to the police station, that they even bothered to say that Swami had been transferred and that he had been investigating the case. These little things matter. She probably always wanted to find out the truth and punish the killer so I don't find that her saying so again today is weird or out of character.

The episode flowed well today and I quite liked the fact that Raghav is starting to use his shrewd brain.

If for some reason Pallavi finds out from someone else then her biggest gripe wouldn't be that Mandaar died because of Raghav but that Raghav didn't show the same trust in her that she showed in him. That's why all these scenes about her falling from him and trusting him blindly are raising her level of emotion and expectations from her husband so that she comes down crashing even harder when the truth is out.

I have a feeling all the elders in the family know what really happened to Mandaar, including Milind. BWA is going to strike at the right moment, she's just biding her time.

Re. Pallavi being mandaar’s widow.. now that u say it.. i think the writers really went for the imagery with the white sari.. mandaar’s widow in pallavi needs closure. She needs to find what happened the day her whole life changed.. she was telling raghav how her life wouldve been different had the incident not taken place.. she had dreams of a happy life with mandaar.. that needs to be addressed for her to move on in life.. with raghav or without raghav depending on what happened and if she really wants a life with raghav...

Also raghav’s inherent/core characteristics are not going to change. Pallavi just saw a different softer side to him post her marriage.. but that is just how raghav is.. the white and black and all the greys co-exist within him.. and pallavi will have to decide if she wants the whole of him or walk away cuz she is not comfortable..

@bold

She waited for 2 yrs and actually she didn't want to even move on , she wanted to stay in that home

Its very normal of her nature to want to know what happened

She has been his widow since the wedding night , how much she must have suffered , what all ppl would have talked . She didn't get to live a marital bliss even for a day and that really heart breaking .
