I've found it weird that she's never had one wistful moment about Mandaar. She clearly liked and respected him, they were all set to have a great marriage, at least from her perspective. Doesn't make sense for her to be wistful now, but before...pyaar nahi bhi hua, she never wonders what could have been?

She did imagine herself as bride in one function na ?

I think she might have ignored her pain about becoming widow at young age , day of her marriage must’ve buried it back then to support Deshmukhs but slip up toh huya hai when she imagined her bride self happily dancing in Manasi’s function

Now she is bride / wife toh she doesn’t even remember about Mandaar

She wasn’t even his wife for a day , except phone calls , what more memories does she have to hold onto ?

Wistful moments weren’t for Mandaar specifically, they were because of fact that she never got to experience life of a married woman

Yeah, that one moment is all we saw. Plus, in one episode, when she dresses up Mansi, Mansi brings up Mandaar, and Pallavi looks sad. But uske baad, her entire focus was on what Ayi and Baba lost, never what she did. Not memories, per se, because there was not time for that, but potential. Exactly what you wrote in bold.

Obviously, why should she be wistful now? She's happily married, great husband, great inlaws. The wistfulness won't make sense at all. I meant, I was confused by why the show never lingered on her thoughts and feelings on what went down after those very first few episodes.
