Anyway, today it played right as he said 'ladkiyan mujhpe se nazar nahi hata paati', the Malayalam lyrics from the song. The same Malayalam lyrics play over the first shot of the first episode of the show, as the camera pans Hyderabad.

I remember it because I got a little annoyed as to why they were playing Malayalam and not Telugu music, or something more connected to Hyderabad while watching the first episode, so it stuck with me.

Yes they would have played suprabhatham as they opened with lord venkateswaras idol on first eposode

So it's obvious that from a show perspective, they're dressing her like that because they want to hammer the whole 'Mandaar's widow, Raghav's wife' situation into the audience's mind visually. In show though, I don't think Pallavi's thought process was ki 'oh, I must dress like a widow', but more of that's the only light colored sari she has, so she's wearing it. Plus, it's just going to be to give Raghav some extra jhatkas because he's been hallucinating her in that sari.

Poor raghav is going to drown more into his guilt trip seeing his wife doing birth anniversary of her late pati in white sari

It was absolutely that. I believe Ved may just have taken inspiration from some other TV shows, where he'll call up, drop a vague anonymous tip to instigate Pallavi, and she'll do the rest. But looks like Pallavi's going to make it just a little harder for him.

Do you think all this which Pallavi managed, was being handled by Mandaar before his death? Could be that that's hpw he got into shady stuff, the pressure of it all pushed him down that road, much like it did Nikhil, and to an extend even Pallavi with the shop ka jhooth and all.

Actions ki kami toh hai :( But I try to cut her some slack because she is married to an extremely abusive man. That does hinder you, She's started to break free though, gradually since the night Pallavi was thrown out. She stayed quiet for a long time due to Vijay's health after that, but I feel like she won't let him cross lines again. Let's see, fingers crossed.

I agree! And it's important, Sharda needs to let go a little bit, but she's insecure, so it's understandable that it'll take time.

Jaya might just be the best thing that's ever happened to Pallavi.

Exactly. In a parent/child dynamic, the responsibility to create security for the child is 100% the parent's, and despite the best of intentions, Sharda was unable to do that. Lots of circumstances contributed- reeling from the shocking death of her son, her husband having a heart attack, and Vijay's general nature as well. In all that, she couldn't become Pallavi's confidante, but Pallavi became hers, and also got massively protective of her, so Pallavi never got into being able to confide in her, the way she can with Jaya now,

Seriously I was also thinking, Pallavi being super conscious and conservative about herself, throwing your back at someone's face like that..the positioning and the headstand was hilarious. I was honestly worried for Shivangi ..that may failed headstands could have gotten hurt.

The pooja is more for RaghVi than Mandaar.

Oh for sure, he's going to course correct. But it was fun to see him flummoxed for a bit. His current plan is, send Raghav spiralling into guilt and simultaneously, plant shaq ka keeda in Pallavi's head, and watch them self destruct. The Raghav side of his plan worked, the Pallavi side didn't. She was completely out of syllabus. Man, he's such a good villain! Can't wait to see how he adjusts his approach to Pallavi now.

Aptly Summed.

I love the strong foothold Ved can have as the Antagonist cos I believe Ankit portrays him quite well. His background music & his own husky voice & his structured ways can make for really good scenes of Raghav vs. Ved i.e. If CVs can utilize him well🤷
