I do think that Imlie trusts Adi completely.

I know that this is a flaw in Imlie that she is hurting the person who loves her the most with her mahanta & selflessness. But her guilt regarding Didi just colours everything. This immense prem for Didi is also a result of assuaging her own guilt. I don't know how this can be resolved frankly.

I don't think so - because then that makes her a hypocrite who just does lip service- which is what Malini accused her of today.

Imlie is guilt ridden yes - and still ready to sacrifice at the drop of a hat and BBSB is doing well by starting his own campaign to keep her firmly at his side by ensuring she knows how he will react to her leaving him - pure blackmail. As I said earlier in the other thread - if and when Apu does not accept their marriage - Imli's option to run to PG is being taken care of by BBSB's nautanki today :) Smart chap.

khone ka darr hai Isi liye toh her fears and insecurities got triggered.. but i guess what you mean is she is the stronger one.. she can Happily give up and back off if she feels ke iski wajah se didi khush hai... i guess the correct term is imlie knows the art of letting go.. woh itni selfless hai kar sakti hai dard hoga dukhe ga but she willl make peace with it for the greater Good.. Lol khone ka darr na ho toh would she take itna direct panga with SK once he was burried alive rofl.. Jaan toh iski bhi adi main basti hai even today she dikhaooed such phurti to get to him and even when she was being held in Living room and couldn't find a way to go nish and him communicated ke niklo jaldi haha

@bold you got it perfectly right.. hope Adi's selfishness rubs a little on Imlie when it comes to their relationship. At least after today's dhamki from babusaheb, hope she thinks 100s times before even thinking about letting go of their relationship for someone. High hopes on Imlia.. chop hi honge.

I agree as well. Basically she needs to put it in her head that these were HER rights to begin with which had been given away to someone else. She isn't snatching anybody's rights!!

She needs to stop thinking about Malini at each point when the other woman did not do so at any point. It was a good bond but they royally ruined the character and now it is nothing but irritating. Thoroughly irritating! It ruined the entire feel Adi-Imlie scene was actually giving.

So much for the lady's monologue at Pagdandiya the other day 🙄

Anyways, I just re-watched the Adi-Imlie scene to wash away that irritation I felt after hearing just one dialogue of the certain somebody as I skipped the next part.

Imlie brings about so many shades in Adi. Why are people so blind to not see that?

I think Imlie will always be selfless - that’s her and I do not think that will change. She has been ready to move forward with her relationhip with Adi and even last week she was ready to be with Adi when he wanted to tell the truth.

I just think the only instant when Imlie might decide to step back from the relationship is if and when the tripathis don’t accept her right away - at this point that’s all she is scared about - so it will be interesting how the truth comes out and what would be the reaction of the older tripaghis especially the ladies.

Please somebody clarify my doubt.

I believe like this:

Imlie has given up her rights as wife because of Adhithya & it was done for him . On belief that he never accept her or don’t want to disturb him … what ever she does .

But why now most of viewers also feels she giveup right because of Malini or to Malini.

What ever she done is starts with Adhithya and ends with Adhithya … this is the feel I get …. And Tripathi’s obviously they loved her from the day one .

But why and when she started placing Malini above all other ( not above Adhithya ) . She gave humanitarian consideration nothing more than that I feel.

Or imlie have not still come out of the trauma given by Adhithya in initial days of their marriage…

I will have to disagree with your comment that if Imlie has the trust in Adi that he won't let her leave than she becomes a hypocrite.

Imlie actually does have the gumption to follow through with what she says. I thoroughly disagreed with Didi's rant about Imlie only saying things but actually not doing things. When has Imlie not done things. She is the one who has actually done the things that she has said.

1. She let go of her rights as a wife so that Adi could marry Didi.

2. She always tried to resolve issues between Adi-Didi whenever they had disagreements.

3. She has already left T house 3 times- during 2nd PD trip, 3rd PD trip, when she was sent to C house.

If Didi says today also that she wants to stay married to Adi, Imlie will try to convince Adi to do so & sacrifice her own happiness.

It is actually Adi & Didi who actually say many things but most of the time never follow through.

Imlie has the strength to let go of her most precious person if she believes that it would make everybody else happy. She will herself be in pain & stay alone & still nibaho her rishta on her own however difficult it may be. She is that selfless & we have to make peace with this fact. I know it irritates us to hell but that is one of her core characteristics.

Hence we have Adi on the other hand who is the selfish one to balance her selflessness. He is selfish enough for Imlie & himself to never let go of Imlie, work with her to get her to accept the reality that one cannot please people all the time & you have to be selfish for your own happiness. I think that is why their understated love story works.

Word to Everything but esp to Bold.. This is exactly why Adi takes her going away for even 2 mins so seriously caz he knows she can.. sirf badi baatein and bada pav khate nahihai imlie .. she does everything she says phir isko dard ho ya khushi she will do it.. I am glad we got proper Adilie scene after Imlie's return n CVS didnt thamoa lollipop to us. Though I would have loved that scene without interruptions from Malu n T family.

Adi when Imlie was not around was all crying n emotional n aur aaj muah phula ke baitha tha He n his haath chodo humara

Thn Hum Khud khaenge, Imlie was adoring him that time. Imlie ki garam tawa kavita yaad aagayi

I really felt bad for Imlie today. She was just sharing her guilt after knowing about Malini being her sister with Adi n Malini, aur dono us pe gussa hogaye. It was not like she was going to leave Adi but itna badi baat usse pata chali thi toh usse guilty feel hona jutstified tha.But I loved that Adi told her clearly tumne nahi ghar ujada hai kisika.

Now coming to Delusional lady, I was waiting for her real face to come in open. I knew she is not so sweet n mahaan as she wants to portray herself to be. Ghusse mein iska asli chehra bahar aata hai. her whole rant reminded me of her sindoor drama n stranger ladki, naukrani. I always found her love n care for Imlie superficial, n today she just proved me right. When Imlie told her about her learning truth about them being sisters, Didi was so cold to her. That girl learnt biggest truth about her father n was sharing with you that she is feeling guilty for you n on top of that with bullshit you made her feel worst.

Didi was on self praising mode. Maine apna pati choda, apne papa se ladi, mahan kaam kiya tune behen, galti agar kisiki hai toh Dev aur Adi ki hai why she was sunaoing Imlie. I hate her saying bolne se nahi karna padta hai dialogue, as if Imlie ne kuch kiya hi nahi. Isko ginwane lage toh chakkar kha ke gir jayegi.

About her jao, jao chilana, She had done the same thing with Adi, when he told her truth while coming back when he said he will do whatever she says, she had asked him chod do imlie ko, assume kuch hua hi nahi, n lets start over, can you do that. same thing she told Imlie today Jao, chali jao..

Didi ke chilam chilane se mera dimag sad gaya hai Imlie didnt deserve all this that too after recently learning about Dev's truth
