Absolutely, the ultimate defeat of the villain is made all the more compelling after he's scored some solid points of his own, and Ved is by far the most compelling antagonist we have so far. Raghav's one major loss away from his 'enough is enough' moment. Right now, he's in desperation, which is making him go haywire. I was thinking about when Raghav's shrewd, cold rage last came out- it wasn't in desperation, it was in vengeance. He wasn't trying to prevent anything from going wrong, he was avenging his sister and mother, who had been wronged already. Perhaps all the faux pas he's making from a security perspective are leading to something happening that hits not only him, but also Kirti/Jaya/Pallavi, which brings out that side of him. As you said, it blows my mind that he's not taken any security precautions for anyone actually. Despite Ved's explicit threats, there doesn't seem to be security detail on Pallavi or Kirti, who we've seen casually move in and out.

Farhad's been out of commission this week, and I look forward to how his presence will impact Raghav's frame of mind. He's someone Raghav trusts, probably more than he trusts anyone else, and he usually has extremely sound advice (whether Raghav listens or not is a different story)- he's the trustworthy, stable, voice of reason.

@bold, the entire restaurant scene and then what he did at the party was so beautifully and coldly done by Raghav, it would send chills down his enemies' spines. It was a surgical strike, executed to perfection.

He should nip this in the bud by telling Pallavi himself, but my point is what does Ved want? Break their marriage? Then what? Watch a Devdas Raghav? Is that enough for him or will he go after his business too at some point?

I would be surprised if Raghav ended up waiting for it to get to a point where he has to take revenge. I mean, if Pallavi finds out about Mandar through Ved, what exactly is Raghav going to avenge? Ved enabling her to learn the truth? I am hoping Ved is playing a longer game but I can't see beyond his emotional attyachaar at this point. I hope it will be revealed in time instead of it just being Ved dangling this sword over Raghav's neck all the time.

@bold- absolutely. And Pallavi could sense something was up, but his execution was so perfect, she didn't stand a chance.

He should tell Pallavi- the sooner the truth is out in the open, the better it would be. As for Ved, I think he's just playing with Raghav right now. Last time, he wanted Raghav dead. I doubt that's changed. He may just be having fun torturing him, or rather, forcing him to torture himself, before ultimately going for the kill. Why make it quick and easy when he could rather make it prolonged and torturous? At least, that's my current read until we get more insight on Ved's endgame.

No, I didn't mean it would be revenge exactly, but that Raghav's worst side came out reactively, and that there's probably going to have to be a massive event for him to react to again, for him to finally clear his mind and get Ved. It could be Pallavi finding out about Mandaar- his worst fear will be realized, so when there's nothing left to fear, Ved loses his leverage. It could also be something happening to Kirti or Pallavi via Sunny, which is another ace Ved has up his sleeve, which he has not yet shown. It could be something to mess with his new equation with Jaya, who we're really not thinking much about these days, since Pallavi and Kirti seem to be in much more explicit danger. It could be something completely else, which hasn't crossed our minds at all, and with how the show's been written so far, it'll probably be this option.

Point being, the most precious thing in Raghav's life is the family he finally has after years of craving for it. He's all haywire right now because the fear of losing this family is so immense, it overtakes his ability to think clearly. Once this is no longer just an abstract fear, but has been realised in some way or the other, it'll clear his mind.

Jagjit Singh's voice for Koi Faryaad... perfectly describes Raghav's feelings and how he views Pallavi, a strong woman who needs his saath, not sahaara. It also conveys how he reads the words and questions in her eyes. ❤️ CVs if you're reading this, please considering using this for Raghav and Pallavi. However, he'll only have part of the puzzle. The other might be already known to her or she'll go investigate and figure things out. I hope we also find out why she used to go to the police station and what that Mandaar case was about. Was it to find out who did the hit and run? Maybe we will see Swami again? I have a feeling he's the one who was helping Raghav remove all traces and news of the accident.

The fact that Pallavi is the only one who seems to have bothered to investigate makes me wonder how much she actually knows about happened that night. Also Ved was at DSE in disguise when the police officer came to talk to Pallavi and he must have heard the reference to Mandaar's case. I guess he went to investigate further and found no information beyond using the Ogle search engine.
