Fir class 8 ka to time hi alag tha Left Right Left and Prithviraj Chauhan. I used to be such a diehard Rajat Tokas fan though for one whole year I didn't know his real name and thought him only as Prithvi. Vaise vo time bhi accha tha. We didn't know anything about TV actors not even their real names magar craze about them was maddening. Insta vagairah se we see them everyday but vo connection nahin aa pata.

Btw, Jabalpur was such fun place. Jab main fourth me thi to Pyaaz roti vali chudail ka kissa khoob chala tha.

Same here. Till I was 20, I was fully convinced ki shaadi to apni Prithviraj Chauhan se hi honi h. But he got married when he was 24. I was like...kyon? Abhi to sirf 24 ka h. I think the last beautifully made shows I watched on TV were Stories by Rabindra Nath Tagore and Star Plus Ek Haseena Thi. Pehle there were different genres of show and the weekend shows were quite unique in their plots and settings. THR bhi Maine season 1 tak hi follow Kiya h regularly uske baad se Shera vale two three epis dekhe. Magar ab sab kuch thoda stale lagta h. That's why I was curious about THR being reinvented article. I've loved Poorva and Reem from their earlier shows and it's quite disheartening to see Poorva being so underutilized in THR(she used to play quite assertive, spunky, modernish female characters in 2000s). Even we are not seeing shades of Reem's character. She is reduced just to be aai ki beti and Moksh ki Maa. Sehban, his character I found insufferable in DMG, but I loved his gentle, calm character of Yash in Bepanaah (never understood the hate he got by Jenshad fans). But I was kind of happy he finally got a lead role after so many years of struggle and frankly, though CVs have butchered his character many times, his acting always hits the mark.

That's why I'm wishing for a fresh story in THE because the present storyline is milked to the maximum and all actors especially deserve a solid plot. One thing I love about THR forum is everyone is quite chill here and takes the show as only show. We can criticize the show. Other shows have a pretty toxic fanbases hating especially second leads irrationally like I know you want your ship to be united but the actress playing second lead is just doing her job.

I watched the show for Harshad. Us time he was not such a big actor as Rajiv, Vikas, Arjun's characters were more popular but I loved Harshad and Kunal. Harshad and Arjun have a huge fan base which is much deserved but I wish we can see Kunal and Vikas in more projects because they are damn good actors. Kunal in Naa Bole Tum...is hands down one of the best male leads in ITV history I feel.

Us time remix BHI aata tha (Karan Wahi looked cutest on the show) fir Pyaar ki Ek Kahaani me Abhay and Pia literally have one of the best chemistry.

Harshad ka Tere Liye I feel is quite underrated as it was a really beautiful show and a bit different from EK's other projects.

Even EK was quite experimental then and title tracks used to be so beautiful like Kavyanjali, Kayamat, Tere Liye, Left Right Left, Pyaar ki ye ek Kahaani.

Modern shows me to bas Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya ka title track iconic h (The track has Sehban's rain dance pic for PTKK song)

Star par maine last Everest dekha tha..

Aur last 4-5 saal se Turkish Korean Pakistani English drame dekh rahi thi to ITV dekhna bilkul band ho gaya..

I am also a fan of Kdramas. I think the worst thing they do in present shows is abrupt genre switching. Like if a show is romance drama, use achanak se thriller bana denge fir usme social message bhi dikhayenge. Similarly if a killer in our in the open in a thriller, achanak se Aashiqui 2 ke gaane chala denge. THR me hi after SamThu, all other conflicts were not organic but Trilok tak fir bhi it was a decent watch. Fir making Malhar shoot Kalyani just for shock factor(It was completely out of character. That time TV shows par hero ne heroine ko kyun maara concept was trending like in KZK) and Kalyani didn't tell even Anu that she was alive was completely inconsistent. Even Avani twist and Aparna making Moksh a girl felt awkward.
