India Covid situation became better is it? Contestants roaming around streets with so many people. They seem to have only one dose of vaccine as well. Is it that safe for group gatherings?

No not at all. Even it has become worst here now days. Families are dying due ro covid...

Even i was thinking about the same that how they are roaming with so many people (most of them are without mask and no social distancing) 😢

I am a few episodes behind watching Idol, but even at the stage where I am, it's going to be really hard to see the contestants dropping off now. Up to Sawai it was okay, but taken cumulatively, i.e., past and present performances, they are all so good in one way or another, that you can't help feeling bad for whoever goes now.

Sonu Kakkar is, IMHO, a big improvement over Neha. Maybe it's just the novelty.

Why is Any Malik still here? True, nothing has been proved against him, but it makes me uneasy with these young girls on the show.
