A teary eyed Sai looked at her hands helplessly that were tied with a rope that had made several cuts in her skin symbolising the several attempts she had made to free herself.
She tried to adjust herself and her whole body ached. A tear escaped her eyes. She was too scared to cry lest it should wake him up.
She looked at him sleeping in a chair in a half lying position. She couldn't believe that the same guy used to make love to her so gently that she often wondered if she were a flower. The same man used to laugh at her antics that he found cute once upon a time. Now the same man is disgusted even if she breathes.
She sobbed despite herself and then shut her mouth tightly but it was too late.
"Umm..." The man woke up with tired eyes and looked around. His eyes fell on her and his face contorted in disgust. He picked up a glass lying on the floor beside his chair and threw it in her direction. The glass hit her right leg and cut right through it. A stream of fresh blood appeared on her already wounded leg and she yelped.
"SHUT UUPPP!!!" He shouted and covered his ears with his hands, "Kitna shor karti ho tum? Thodi der Shanti se Insaan so bhi nahi sakta?" He gritted his teeth and closed his eyes again. Soon, the features became relaxed as he fell asleep again.
She bit her lip to keep herself from weeping or crying in pain. Though she managed to keep silent, her body kept shaking as she sobbed.
She herself had no clue when she had fallen asleep.
"Ye! Mere liye?" Sai's eyes twinkled as she happily took the pendant in her hands.
Virat rolled his eyes, "nahi, padosan ke liye."
Sai pouted and Virat chuckled.
She immediately tried to tie it around her neck but couldn't do so.
A hand came around her neck, "Main pehnata hu," Sai smiled as she looked at their reflection in the mirror.
Soon the hold of his hand got stronger.
"Virat Sir, kya kar rahe hain," she smiled. But soon her smile evaporated as the hold for stronger and stronger.
"Vi..." She couldn't utter further and violently opened her eyes and found Ajinkya smirking before her but the pain didn't go away while he choked her.
Virat Sir, mujhe le ke jaiye. Mujhse galti ho gayi. Mujhe le ke jaiye.
Sai thought as everything became dark.
