I haven't commented here before but I really want to say something ,I don't know why anyone actually think that this show won't have the family drama .This is not the kind of youth show you all think it is ,it gets telecasted on a family channel for a reason ,it is definitely different but it isn't going to focus on college and study only. I don't know if anyone realises that women being educated is not the plot of the show ,the show is about women managing both her career and family and the man understanding that his wife is an equal to him and he have equal responsibility of the family and their own relationship. The show is called Shaurya and Anokhi Ki kahani for the very same reason .

Exactly they will have to show family and college both have a little patience Shaadi hui hai Kuch rasme hai which is to be followed they are showing that and itv main ek month tak Shaadi chalti hai your lucky ki ye sab saakk main itna jaldi ho Raha hai..... and correctly said a women can manage both is the plot and shaurya know when and where to fight and say that was not the time to be rebel and spoil everyone's mood then GP Ka scene drag hota

Oh I've seen that song. So she imagined doing those things after watching him actually do those things. I do not want Shagun to be our peeping tom.

See shagun is a professor so her major planning and plotting will happen in college i believe and i also feel shaurya and shaan will support anokhi when devi will ask her to drop out of college. Anokhi will take a stand for herself but shaurya can't keep mum. Shaurya is charm of our show thats why when anokhi gets less dialogues no body questions the makers not even me. We got shaurya standing up for anokhi and being sarcastic with BP on the same day. Its the same wedding day he cant go against them all the time and its gud too see a husband who silently supports his wife and let her take the lead instead of opposing her actions.

I think it's because it's the same day being dragged that it was affecting me the most. Shaurya standing up isn't a thing that he picks and chooses. He's as impulsive as his wife. He acts first and apologizes later if needed. I'm just judging it all based on the number of reaction shots and solo shots. That's not really SAAKK directorial style until now. The reason KV has been in all scenes is because Shaurya plays a vital role in all scenes. For the last couple days it feels like if they just had a tall guy put on the groom's outfit, the shoulder shot during Anokhi's close ups could be anybody. I'm awaiting all the college scenes now. There the HOD can speak up right?

I dont know whether I have written this in my replies or not but when anokhi asked astha for grih pravesh in college and devi got angry many people were not happy with anokhi taking a stand instead of ss but i was happy because she took a stand for his happiness because ss wanted his mother to do the rituals but his quota of zid in front of BP was over tabhi BP shut him up when he was about to say something in favor of astha. Now also she wants to stop astha for SS only.

I don't actually have a problem with anything Anokhi has said so far. This is the Anokhi I signed up for. The one that speaks her mind at all times, and like Shaurya, I would not change her. I don't know why she needs to keep Aastha around though. Aastha needs to go to Kapurthala for her parents. The reason she left SH in the first place has not changed. And after the Shastha divorce, her staying at SH or Shaan's flat seems weird to me.

His promises and spoilers always comes true so i m mot doubting his words.

Shaurya doesnt trust shagun when it comes to anokhi that we know and i m waiting for the day she looses the friendship as well though i would he isn't even friends with her.

I m liking this pace because fast pace was giving me anxiety i like this pace which is balanced because i have watched other itv shows but people who dont watch ITV and have started watching it after so many years might not be able to take it and i understand that. Its not our fault either we have been spoilt by cvs with romance and fast paced episodes that we want that. I feel from next week onwards we ll get balances episodes with romance and some moments of domesticity and college scenes post pehli rasoi.

SAAKK had rehabilitated me from other dragging ITV shows. I can't watch most shows on SP because of it's dragging nature. The fact that SAAKK might join them makes me sad. But I'm hoping this is just a short term issue. They should get back to usual with SIAC and Shakhi settling into marriage.

Dont know about dance because there are no BTS but i hope we get. I m shakhi deprived too. Give me 5 minutes of uttawla sabherwal

Yes saakk joining the other itv shows makes me sad as well but then i believe in KV's words too he said they ll keep the drama realistic and we lk get romance nok jhok.

And yes u r right about astha why would she leave her parents it will be illogical. Lets see how anokhi stops her and why astha agrees to stay.

Apart from that, he has compromised a lot of other things too. He said jahaan pyaar hota hai wahaan ego nahi hoti, n he has lived by these words of his in every smallest situation, he has given up on his ego, he is not stubborn around her, her way is the high way for him!

Just because his ideology was wrong, doesn't mean he was entitled to change. Had he ended up with Shagun, he would have never realised his Soch was wrong, he would have never cared to change his Soch n he would never realised he was wrong. He has compromised first, realised that the compromise made him a better person, and then changed!!!

Interesting take ! I agree with you but not completely. Both of them have compromised , it is just that Anokhi has been more vocal and Shaurya has been more action oriented and Shaurya seems more invested that Anokhi at times so it seems that he compromised more that Anokhi.

Shaurya wanted Anokhi at any cost because he was 100% invested in the relationship, when he realized that he would have to change his expectations from his wife and be supportive of Anokhi's career , he did because Anokhi demanded it of him to even consider remaining in the relationship. When Anokhi asked him to give Astha place in his life to consider the relationship, he did . He was not particularly happy about either initially but he compromised so you are right.

But look at it differently- Anokhi had no plans to marry so soon, no plan to stay with a family like Sabherwals but she compromised when Shaurya forced marriage on her. That was her price to pay to keep Shaurya in her life. In some ways her compromise is much bigger because Shaurya can back off his compromises and go back to regressive soch, Anokhi can't. She cannot reverse the marraige and she needs Shaurya's support to get to her dreams if she wants to keep her love too. Even strong and smart women like Astha and Kanchan have failed to keep both without their husband's support. She has taken a bigger leap of faith in the end and entrusted her life and dreams to Shaurya. That is huge given her trust issues.

Shaurya has not bought his ego in his love even once, he bore her anger, her nonsensical reason for rejection on the date night, her dilly-dallying on status of their marriage, her constant Astha Jaap and career jaap with immense grace and patience. At the same time Anokhi did compromise on her pride when she stood for hours outside his door just to see him after his accident despite being humiliated again and again. She risked her career which is very important to her when he barged into her room the first time and she let him stay. The only time when I thought she failed to make a reasonable compromise was when she chose to stay and complete last question on her exam instead of running to marraige venue and make good time

It is hard to say who compromises and gives in more because it is based on circumstances and who has more capability to compromise without risking much.

Friday episode! We’re still in Shaadi day, turning into Reception evening and hopefully Suhaagraat night!

First we’ll have to deal with a living room confrontation!

Then some Shakhi hanky panky for the thirsty!

And maybe kicking off reception by the end of the episode!! Show me my pretty people!
