No the promise isnt as serious as she made it sound but she certainly feels like she cant take priority over Virats family in his life. She will try to keep him away from the tiffs with family if she can and she is trying to keep a safe distance from him. She cant help but get closer to him but she is trying to avoid things like have him spending money on her, do things for her prioritizing her over the family. She enjoys his attention but she doesn't want it at the cost of his family being upset with him and as a result taunting and insulting her. Shes depressed n exhausted with the insults of family and genuinely wants to call truce with them
