Yes, Ashu. I'm glad we have a public holiday tomorrow because it gives me the chance to watch today's episode again and pick it apart!
What an episode, man! I totally loved the warehouse sequence. Brilliant lighting and execution and the background music was to die for. I felt I was watching a movie not a show because warehouse sequences on ITV tend to feel very fake. This felt like the real thing.
Sai Ketan Rao, take a bow - you exceeded my expectations in that scene! Raghav is now back to being confident, no longer afraid of Ved because Ved himself spilled the beans on how he wants to attack Raghav, via his love story. I loved Ved's serpent-like voice and how he was trying to get into Raghav's head, but failed this time.
There was a bullet hole in the windscreen so I'm guessing someone shot at Raghav and he or his driver ended up losing control of the car and hit Mandaar. Raghav doesn't know what Mandaar was doing there on his wedding night and I'm hoping he investigates. Why did he keep the car there, though? Something else occurred to me. What if it wasn't Raghav but Keerti or someone else close to Raghav who crashed the car?
Pallavi is going to get hurt by Sunny if she doesn't pay attention. She needs to stop confronting him and plan something major to get Keerti to open her eyes. I am getting really worried about Keerti's life being ruined but perhaps she's the one who will end up saving Pallavi from Sunny's evil plans.
Amma was so cute. In a previous post, I had been lamenting that we don't get to hear much about Amma and her side of the story, in terms of what her past must have been like. So happy to hear the way she talked about Raghav's father. They must have been life partners in every sense. All the hardship over the years must have left her very lonely, and being able to talk about these old times with someone like Pallavi, in the way girl friends would and not saas bahu, made me feel really warm inside. The way she reached out to feel the raindrops and threw some over Pallavi playfully just felt so natural. I know Pallavi said that Amma would always be her saas but I feel as if these two will develop an extremely strong bond, which would help her (and Raghav) immensely when the Mandaar mess happens. She's going to need someone really solid on her side and I am hoping that would be Amma, who would be able to balance between her son and bahu.
I always felt that Raghav's father was likely a great husband and kept Amma very happy.
I've said this elsewhere too in the past but boys and men look up to their fathers and if his father was a great husband, Raghav grew up seeing that. He was always meant to be a great husband himself because to him that was a given. We see it all the time now. He really was born to be a husband. I am so so happy, patting myself on the back here. š
Again, props to the team for the way they shot this sequence, and that cream/beige combo in the guest room was just so beautiful in terms of setting. Ah these designers!!
I am a bit tired of the fake Charminar rain shot but will let it go. Won't talk about Sunny or Sanki today. Not in the mood.
