So they overstated the karz part in the show for drama. And maybe the severing of ties with the maayka is just inferred. I hope they don't pick more questionable rasams and do some fun ones that Anokhi should have no problem with!

yes it’s dramatised! These days how can you sever ties with your parents. If they need her she will be there just like what Astha did. Maybe they will come back to it to show parallels!

It's the same way the Sabherwals are so regressive. To show Aastha and Anokhi as more progressive and others kind of fall in the middle.

I had this thought in my mind too, just like Astha had to leave to look after her parents, anokhi may find herself in the same situation. Raja is not seen or heard and now is the black sheep of the family so perhaps circumstances may arise that she has to be with her parents.

Shaurya test starts here, he needs to recollect all the promises she made during bidaii, I think that was why it was stretched and he heard it all. Maybe just maybe.

He wont have a problem with her studying as such but this could land him in a situation where his dad was

Shaurya kind of proved himself the first time he left SH for Anokhi. When he said "Shaurya wohi rehega jaha uski Anokhi rahegi". But you're right, they're trying to do the parallel between Shastha and Shakhi. Kind of like to say, this is how it could've turned out 25 years ago.
