The comparison was absolutely rubbish, it doesnt make him tharki 😂 also they just dont show much romance doesnt mean that, kaira were lead couple, the romance quotient has to be high! Also many ppl said if sirat had not slept they would hv because ranveer was already helping her remove all the jewelry! Also u remember how naira was all ready sitting on the bed with her ghunghat!! Also how does it matter how much u hv dated, they are married nd if both want to consummate nd are ok with it even on the first night, how does it matter??? They were already in love? Whats so bad in doing it? This is quite regressive I must say! Most of the couples if u see in showsz series as soon as they confess they consummate even before marriage, doesn't make them tharki, it's an expression of love!! Also I mentioned how kartik told her to take her time, when she was not ready!! U dont notice that?? Also after second marriage as I mentioned he didnt even bother, her health was first, infact he got busy in taking care of her that he forgot, lol. It nvr mattered to him! Yeah they mentioned 6 months leap! Also the birthdays fall as per thier conveniences nd not timeline! It's not real life! They hv brought naira's birthday twice in one year.

What's rubbish is your birthday logic 🤪 There is a whole episode dedicated to Naira feeling bad that her first birthday back from Rishikesh is as a Goenka, instead of her getting to finally spending it with her family. And that's the thing that causes drama for the next few episodes.

And again, Kartik was a pretty tharki husband & even ex-husband. Naira was a tharki too. And tharki doesn't mean that you sleep with every thing that moves. It means lustful, which we saw Kartik be many time: like on his first night or during his extramarital affair with Naira. Ranveer hasn't once jumped on his bed like Kartik because uska 'vrat khulne wala hai'. That dude isn't even touching his girlfriend of 10 years, whom he got back after 2 years & almost dying.

And again a friendly reminder that here we're talking about husbands and not wives. Compared to Kartik, Ranveer is such a soft baby.

Sorry to jump in and though I do usually agree with your posts, this discussion just seems quite unnecessary.

You seem to be bashing the character just for the heck of it.

Wanting to consummate or not, with your wife might I add, doesn’t make you a “tharki”.

Whilst I agree the romance wasn’t needed in the 5 years leap, other than that, they were either dating or married for the entirety of their journey. So how is wanting to romance or consummate with your partner wrong?

As for Ranveer, he was kissing and dancing with his gf 5 mins after meeting her after 2 years?

They went on multiple dates.

He came to her bedroom at night just to romance. Doesn’t that fall under your definition of tharkipan?
Again, had they not been disturbed, he was ready to consummate on the wedding night as well.

Also, who’s to say they haven’t consummated yet? They are sharing a bed, so they might have done it as well.

Lol I think there is a maaaasive communication gap. Like we friends use the word tharki for anyone with sexual or sexual-adjecent feelings, eg be it crushing on Chris Hemsworth or having those feelings for your partner. But it seems to be coming across to everyone like I'm calling Kartik a creep? No. I'm just calling him lustful, and lust isn't bad in itself. It's desirable when expressed in a healthy way. May be I should have worded it better.

What I do feel negatively about is that Kaira's relationship turned out to be mostly lustful with no depth or growth. They'd always have these hot, dryhumping scenes but no mental comparability or emotional growth. They even displayed no respect for each other or themselves with the extramarital affair. Comparing that to Ranveer, who made his whole life about making Sirat's better. There is such deep emotional & mental investment there. There's so much longing, so much lost.. Yet he isn't acting like a hormonal 21yo about making out with his wife (which he justifiably could be).

They’ve just made this Sirat character the most stupid female on itv. Nothing she does makes sense. Love doesn’t change in minutes. And if she doesn’t love ranveer whom she dated and apparently was in love with for years and who has been through so much for her…then how can she love karthik whom she has just met 2 months ago. She’s probably lusting after mohsins good looks 😂😂😂. Lol..I can’t watch Sirat and karthik…even though I loved kaira and it’s the same actors..nothing is nice about the 2 of them together. I don’t know why these writers can’t just make naira come back and end our torture.👏🏼. It's not rubbish, it might be a one bday to another, the episode was dedicated on that but if u count that doesn't make sense, they just added the rishikesh thing to add as story to the track. But they had taken a 6 month leap after the entry of goenkas! Infact when mansi's truth got out they even said itne sare mahino tak chupa ke rakha sach! If they had married off just after her death then how does it make sense. Nd what touching scenes??

Also the timelines of the show really doesnt make sense nd as I said sometimes the timelines are shorter they will bring 2 birthdays in a year or sometimes 1 birthday in 2 years!

Yes, They had many separations, misunderstandings some of them were unnecessary the makers could hv showed a progress but they were behind trps, still are behind it. They had shown certain tracks where there was a progression in their relationship but they kept going back! Kaira could hv survived longer.
