So this shaadi took a full week! How did we race through all the other rasams in one day but a shaadi is extended this long?
I thought that was smart decision on CV's part. They could not have any romance until end of Mehandi ceremony because Anokhi was unaware and being stubborn, we would have been frustrated seeing her so tortured. They kept haldi realistic but that meant couple could not meet so again, they pulled in as much drama as they could with Vineet. The true drama is going to happen in Sab family since that is where the you have powerful antagonists.
Babli made such a good point....Mummyji and Babli tried being the perfect bahus and still got abused, let Anokhi try her own way! Bidaai was bittersweet. Anokhi made great points and I’m glad Shaurya was there for support, but it felt too preachy and drawn out(definitely a writing and pacing issue). There’s apparently many meanings to throwing the rice behind you but it all boils down to leaving one home for another....cutting ties. I’m glad Anokhi is entering SH for the sake of drama!! The Sabherwals need this spirit to introduce them to the 21st century!!
It felt preachy for sure. Anokhi is on a roll, I liked that she promised her mom that she will not pick a fight unless she feels something is going wrong. I wish Anokhi to speak up but pick her battles. So Astha was a rebel too when she got married, no wonder Tejvi seem so traumatized by their experience with her. 30+ year back a middle class DIL being a rebel would have been inconceivable to hypocrites and regressive family like Sab family. Like Shaurya's subtle support.
Mr. Shaurya Sabherwal has no chill! He talked in circles to get her to realize that it’s their suhaag raat!! I’m just sitting here cheesing about how much of a tubelight our Anokhi is!! SMH,Take the scenic route to SH!
It is funny but I have a hard time imagining Anokhi as a married woman. She seems so childlike to me sometimes. Poor SS ...he has been controlling for so many days now, someone needs to take pity on him. Good news - Anokhi is just as crazy in love , just as bold and just as attracted to SS as he is to her. He just needs to unleash her passion. I am curious to see how far CVs are willing to push the envelope in terms of gender equality in intimate relationships or planned pregnancy and how creative they can get. SR on first night kind of makes sense here because they have been in love for a while and they have been married for sometime now.
Tejvi and Alok are in big planning/plotting mode! I wonder if they will involve Shagun in it. High level curiousity on how this will turn out!!!
I am nervous. When Tej said that direction of wind will change and they will change it, it scared me a bit because Tejvi are seasoned player in this game. I hated how Tej called Shaurya "Joru ka Gulam". Was he supposed to stand there like an idiot while his wife struggled with her dupatta stuck in car handle? It is comments like these that incite male ego and make guys act like jerks. I have seen this happen before in real life. I also hated the venomous glance Tejvi casted towards their joined hands when they stood for Grihpravesh ceremony. I just hope Shaurya continues to keep his brain and his values intact after marraige. ITV MLs tend to lose their intelligence after marriage for some odd reason. There are things that play in Shaakhi's favor though-
1)They have immense understanding of each other. Anokhi knows the real Shaurya, one who wanted his mother back, one who feels indebted to his foster parents, one who tries to be fair, one who loves her so much that he is willing to change, one who was willing to marry her without her consent to hold onto her. Shaurya fell in love with no-nonsense, bold and courageous Anokhi who could see his vulnerabilities. he got what he loved so he should have no complaints.
2)I am hoping that Kanchan, Ahir, Reema, Babli and Shastha will continue to knock sense into them when they start to veer off the path of their love.
I wonder what could drive a wedge between the couple. I am also curious how they managed to separate Shastha years ago. Did Tejvi orchestrate Astha's brother's accident years ago to drive her away because they certainly seem capable of it or did they take advantage of the opportunity as it presented itself? We have heard several times that they don't want Anokhi to go through what Astha went through. What exactly did Astha go through? If Shaan loved her so much, why did he not take a stand? To me next big track is Shastha track because it impacts Shaakhi and has potential of changing family equations with soch being backdrop to it all.
A point to note....we’re glossing over the fact that Aastha came to SH(the Hyderabad version) already? Maybe this time she’s coming with the haq of being Shaurya’s mom...maybe that’s why the flashbacks?
She came as guest to fight for Shaurya's right, not as a family member. This time she will act as family member when she does Grihpravesh and I think that is what was driving Devi crazy. Tejvi said they compromised to get Shaurya home and make him their own. What does that even mean? He was always theirs until they broke his trust. I am surprised that no one has questioned changed Astha-Shaurya equation so far. I guess they are blaming it all on Anokhi by saying that Shaurya is giving in to appease Anokhi which is far from truth.
Precap: Grihpravesh continues tomorrow. And with suhaag raat, I don’t think reception will occur until Friday/Saturday! ANOKHI WILL GET TO SEE SHAURYA’S ROOM!! I cannot calm down about this!
I am excited about it too, I want to see if he really had a framed photo of Anokhi with sindoor somewhere. Did he have any keepsakes from their interactions?
