@bold: I think this depends on who you marry. If you marry someone who doesn’t agree with you on the important things then maybe it’s not a fight you can win once married. That’s why choosing a good partner that’s on the same wavelength matters!

I so agree. It depends a lot on the partners. A girl can be a feminist and have a happy life .. if her partner agrees to her view points on the important things in life.. otherwise at the in laws .. people r bound to point fingers at one time or the other.. if husband is by your side.. that is a huge advantage.

Exactly, two feminists marrying each other is better than a feminist marrying a misogynist and hoping to change them.

As for people, people always have a lot to say, it’s better to ignore and live your own life than kowtowing to society.

Exactly ..a feminist should absolutely settle with someone who has similar ideas even if not a hard core feminist.. but certainly not wd misogynists ..hell no.

It's about finding peace .. so yes.. as long as you and your partner find that.. and live happily.. the rest of the world can say whatever they want to.

Anokhi should definitely raise her voice.. I would just say that sometimes maybe she needs to discuss with her husband.. if she needs to point out that issue there itself or maybe bring that up later.

Will save her from a lot of trouble.. u know sometimes diplomacy is the key.. guess she will get it as she grows older
