Sid s not a naive person. Saying thngs like Mithai s careless n they spent night 2gthr is defo cant be accepted in a divorce case

So the question that arises is - Why will he say that? If not exactly what's shown in the promo, then at least something similar but coming from a sensible guy like Sid who has been told a thousand times by his "BFF" (more like her mom) not to, why would he bring it up?

In the promo, Mithai just said "Ar tumi sedin oi dorjar handle ta bhangle?"

He could've easily avoided trudging into that territory because not even once did Mithai mention about them in a room, but he didn't!

He's hesitant to give the divorce, it's evident! But, why? That is the question.

Does he feel something for her? He's still in the delusion (emphasize on the word delusion) that he doesn't believe in love and marriage. Why am I saying this?

Remember the day of their bhaat kapor? Mithai said that she'll assume her own responsibility. Then Sid very gladly says on the day of Rabindra Jayanti "Amr ekta responsibility ache ki na Mithai er proti" or something along those lines. With what right does he think he can take up her responsibility? As a husband or a mere well-wisher? He did say he's returning her favour/s and for a moment let's just assume he is.....

So would a workaholic person like Siddharth Modak come running, leaving behind his work (and right before the call, his colleague and a close friend pointed out that he had recently been losing focus in his work) just because a girl he's indebted to cut her hand while chopping vegetables! Even though Dadai did call him and tell him to reach home, he could've calmed him down saying that he was working on an important project and instructed him to do the first aid. I mean, why not?

I have so many questions. What was the turning point in their relationship? Was it the fire incident? Or signing the divorce papers? Does he really feel anything for her? (he does, just he's giving everyone mixed signals)

Why does he not want to divorce her? Why does he want to take care of her? Why now?

Why does he not want her to leave Monohora (@anjani-pagli has already mentioned this in one of her earlier posts)?

Is he in love or he's still in the process of falling? This is so damn confusing! I'm telling you I'm more confused about his feelings than he will be once the realization track starts!

It was Dadayi who suggested SidMit file divorce case .

Dadayi knew Sid would never separate from Mithayi because deep in his heart he liked that girl .

And I am sure at court Sid pretended it was his slip of tougue but he did it purposely as he did not want divorce.....and he had started disliking Torsha for her over bearing side which had become evident now .

Dadayi has cleverly used reverse psychology for Sid

@bold: I think Dadai answers this today, when he says that he can clearly see Sid is not able to accept the divorce but not because he loves Mithai, rather, because he owes mithai his life.

Honestly speaking, I think the turning point in their relationship has not arrived yet. The fire accident can be thought of as a milestone, in terms of making room for respect and care, for each other in the relationship, but not love as yet. It may be thought of as a catalyst for the yet-to-come love milestone.

I totally agree. Today I was thinking exactly when Sid fell in love with Mithai. I could not find the answer. Because there is no love yet in between them. They have respect, care and kind of understanding for each other.
