I decided to watch the episode after few of you recommended it.

But sadly, I could not connect to Sai at all today.

First the whole issue about why she invited the Chavans to her college function...

If she did it to challenge them or just to make a point, I'm sorry but it was completely unnecessary. It makes her look silly.

I think it was actually more for the family thing - she mentioned it to Virat too. In which case I feel sad - Sai is under such tremendous mental strain that she is looking at her abusers as her own. I don't mind this track if it is eventually done with the aim of highlighting her mental health and Chavans being shown the mirror. But it won't be. She will at the most be reduced to desperately wanting affection and being continuously humiliated over it.

Or was she being shown as a typical mahaan bahu - who forgets all the injustice done to her and decides to bring the family together? She need not be petty and stoop to their level, and a courtesy invitation would not have been out of place. But this.....

Either way, it's a mood breaker.

Coming to some of her cringeworthy dialogues today...

Sai was pretty convinced that "Chavans resist a lot, but eventually they accept ...example Devyani and Harini"

Really Sai 😳...which amnesia bug bit you? Have you forgotten about Pulkit kidnapping, your own ousting, fake evidence, drugging Devyani etc. If that is just 'resisting' then I don't know what to blame - your intelligence or your poor vocabulary. And Chavans didn't accept...they were left with no choice except to withdraw their claws. If they could, they'd try their antics again.

Sai's 'advice' to Karishma regarding being supportive of her husband.

This is not advice, but poking your nose in husband-wife matter. Support for a spouse is highly subjective - Karishma's position in CN is compromised and she has every reason to be frustrated with Mohit. Mohit too can be hurt by Karishma's public put-down. Anyways it's between a husband-wife, and Sai's comment was unsolicited as well as patronizing. Ashwini's advice to Karishma was more appropriate.

She knows very well how it feels to ask for monetary favours - she used to be reluctant to even accept money from Virat. To offer money to Karishma lacked decency. Period. Karishma is not even close to Sai.

I agree about the money part. She need not have offered it because she barely has enough to manage her own expenses.

But i think Sai didnt overstep too much when she told karishma that support for your spouse when they are struggling is important. But thats all she said. I dont think thats a problem. Karishma was out of line today. Not that mohit has been a supportive husband but she shouldn't have talked to mohit in that tone. It was a verry genuine one line "advice/suggestion" to karishma that dont let bk/ninad abusing mohit make you forget that you loved/married this man to stand by him in his good and bad times.

The inviting CN, i agree is stupid. But at this point I havevresigned myself to the fact that these guys are gonna get whitewashed and Sais purpose now is to get them to accept and like her and eventually become everyone's favorite. Thats what aai oredicted, thats what Virat wants/expects/and has predicted. Therefore after resigning myself to the fact that we are gonna be forced to go with CN peeps are "dil ke acche" and not vile criminals- i watched the scene knowing that its gonna be a Sai va CN tu tu main main contest. So when you know what to expect then you can enjoy watching Sai's comebacks and counters to them. Is it necessary- no. But ab hona hi gai toh atleast its happening with full tashan and swag! 🤷

I laughed out loud when she told pp that this is how I invite people- orally, all at once coz everyone is sitting there, I don't message people living in the same house and conveniently forget to invite a few. Lol max. That was epic. Uff.

Karishma has demonstrated that she has no f**ks to give about her own husband. she won't financially support her husband by doing any naukri herself and call him out in front of all. Mohit karishma really need to address things between them. Mohit's behavior with karishma is also not anything to write home about. Hard to believe that they had a "love marriage" that too with full disclosure of everything- Mohits family and financial condition etc. Why did karishma marry him if she has such a problem with his career choice ?! And why did mohit marry her if he knows shes an opportunist? And if they truly love each other why do we never see it?!

I also ROFLed when Sai told ninad- you gave me lecture on joint family so that applies to you too - so you have to come to ny annual function.

New regressive thoughts- ghar ki bahu cannot dance in public! Everyday they have new rubbish to spout.

When she said she will be late due to college function rehearsals, bk objected and Sai smartly twisted her words against bk herself. She said you can't apply rules for family members on me. If you do, then you consider me family, which means you need to come to the function.waah. kya baat hai.

Sai is too good. Kya style hai!

I love how Sonali has decided that Sai will fulfil her challenge- its just a question of how long. Lol.

And the best part of every episode is always the Sairat scene.♥️ Its obvious Sai waited for him to eat and also kept everything ready. Yeh alag hai ki she wont acknowledge it. I wish Virat instead of looking bummed out by her excuse of "studying" had smiled and shook his head at her "excuses" like he did during halwa scene when devkit came. He knows she is just evading because she wants to keep her walls up. But he will break the wall down. I love Sais minimal make up, curls hair look.

The way Virat teases her and tries to get more info out of her is too cute. He did the galat naam thing again. Aniridh, aniket, anirup..

Hahaha.

And the best line LIFE partner! Sai blushed and gave a small smile.♥️ I dont know why Virat evaded and said pati instead of repeating himself when Sai asked - kya.

And i think Sai genuinely feels that this is too childish for Virat to attend leaving police ke kaam that too in the middle of the day. But Virat seems SO eager to go. Lol. Such a sweetheart. Moreover i think she is preventing herself from feeling bad if he cant make it so shes already analysed the situation, figured out that the odds of him being free are super low and so she's trying to avoid disappointment by using her logic.

Today his night dress has the same pants he wore to work once. Yeh log itna dress up hoke kyun sote hai raat ko?! Sai wears dupatta to bed. Virat is wearing proper pants and not tracksuit. Lol. Aur ye nagpur ki garmi mein itne full sleeved shirts kyun pehenta hai?!

Episode ends with Virat asking if he is included under her ginti of parivaar and Sai looks stumped. Wonder what bahana she will give now or maybe she won't! It'll be interesting to see after acknowledging her parvaah for him openly n hugging him, whether she will now openly acknowledge him as family too. In the past she has evaded it. But things have changed between them....lets see.

Precap seems to suggest that instead of suicide/death, the fake police are saying Sai had major accident and she was mentally disturbed due to them. Agar aisa hai toh Kaafi accurate story hai. No wonder CN peeps will fall for it. Because they have abused her to the pount that she would be mentally disturbed by them.

Also i forgot to mention in yesterday's epi discussion/review- Shivani is back! I'm happy to see her back but she still has literally 1 dialogue n nothing to do! 🙄🙈

Where did UM disappear?! Will she be included in parivaar or is she back to GC again?

Karishma's anguish was over her pride - how small she feels asking for money for her daily expense from her parents or her in-laws. So Sai's offer of money must have only made her feel worse.

Sai meant well - but I don't agree with what she said/did. It's just that some of these dialogues seemed out-of-character for her. Perhaps, it is just her naivete and lack of tact, I'm fine then - she is allowed to have flaws.

Karishma joins in ans questions Mohit on the same - that the financial instability in their lives means she has to borrow money from her parents or in-laws for even her daily expense. So Sai asks Karishma to approach her if she needs money (well intentioned). And also advices Karishma to stand by her husband during his difficult times.

I somehow found the dialogues a little tactless.

Also when Ashwini and Shivani asks Sai to drop the idea of inviting the Chavans, Sai says that the Chavans resist a few things, but eventually accept it like they accepted DevKit wedding and Harinee.

That's all. In addition, I'm not able to get onboard the invitation drama. So I might have overreacted 😅.

Also, she is not earning, is she? Why all this unnecessary things? I get that she is generous but I wasn’t really sure about her getting a chain for Devi too but I thought may be it is something she wanted to give for her wedding.

Yeah that's what. Although it was well-intentioned, Sai dialogues seemed tactless. It would have been fine if she had said so in private. Or said what Ashwini did - that Karishma should discuss such things with Mohit privately. And i felt it was out character for Sai - because she may not be diplomatic or tactful in a lot of ways, but she always seems mindful of boundaries. Even when she does take liberty, like with Shivani or Devyani, it always seemed very natural and sweet.

But today her dialogues gave me the vibes of ITV bhabhis who distribute their gyaan for free. 😆

As for the invitation drama, Sai was on point with her logical arguments, challenged the Chavans that she will make sure they attend, and even did maha beizzati of Pakhi. But since I'm not on-board with this idea in principle, I was unable to enjoy it.

Sai loves to complicate her life. Jaise chavans ko thode tane diye bina neend nahi aati Sai ko taane sune bina neend nahi aati!

I understand that she craves to be accepted. She goes out of her way in that effort, though she would never accept. She keeps cribbing that they don’t consider her family. But what I don’t understand is that one person who does everything to make her feel like family, she completely ignores him on that aspect. Why is she biased here? Its not about the debate on love but the fact about accepting the other as family. Its more like not valuing what you have but running after what you don’t.

Skipped the Chavan drama. Don't know why Sai had to invite Kaku and her gang. She could have simply invited Ashwini Ayi, Mohit, Shivani and Virat. Why to give so much importance to those who insult you. Or better still if she had invited Devyani alongwith Ashwini. Loved the banter as usual. It was much needed after the unnecessary drama created by the mad house family.

It looks like Virat might replace Ajinkya at the last minute. I would like to know if this performance was in the original too or is it Vankar's creativity?
