The only plausible answer right now is, Raghav might've bribed the journalists and police to suppress the entire matter. But that only means he's the culprit.

I completely forgot about this! If there was a cover up then it would be so interesting! I can't see RR covering this up though and I would be pissed if he did! My thinking is that if RR had a part to play in this, if he was the culprit, he would actually have been affected by this. Someone like RR who was so traumatized by his family tragedy would have really bad PTSD if he had to deal with another death especially another one that he may have inadvertently caused or played a role in.

Vijay is absolutely to blame for all the chaos in the family. Such a problematic dude, he's not even a good person, far from being a good father. In fact, I'd go right ahead and call him downright abusive, and I wrote at length about his abuse of Pallavi yesterday. We've seen him not take Nikhil seriously. Sharda told us that his relationship with Mandaar was strained. He treats his wife and brother like crap. Pata nahi kis baat ka ghamand hai? Na business sambhaal saka, na parivaar.

You know, that shot of a scared Amrutha hiding like a little girl behind Pallavi when Sulochana was beating her, it's etched in my mind. Pallavi really lost an opportunity to get through to her that night, by taking such a preachy approach. I think they're developing her gradually to shift positive- trying to stop Vijay on his feet washing thing, telling Sulochana to stop plotting already, bonding with Milind, and her retort to Mansi today. I believe they might be taking the immature and selfish, but good at heart route with her and I'm all for it.

The chronology of Ved-Mandaar-Raghav-Pallavi is so messy now. Ved knows Mandaar, Raghav may or may not. Ved recognized Mandaar's mom, but not his wife, or their house, or DSE. Ved was arrested 7 years ago and in jail till this year, Mandaar married Pallavi and died two years ago. And somehow an imprisoned Ved knows more about what happened than Raghav? I'll be so pleasantly surprised if they can give a narrative that joins all these together without any chronology loopholes, so let's see.

Ved started off shaky but I blame the lockdown and the makers having to change the story. Now Ved is in his element. Everyone knows my problem with this show was the lack of compelling, well-etched, smart villains. We are finally getting that in Ved and Sunny. Ved knows Raghav especially his past which works to his advantage while Sunny knows enough thanks to Keerti.

The whole VD and Mandaar strained relationship makes me think that Mandaar may have been ambitious and that DSE was not something he wanted to be a part of. Again this leads me to that Mandaar in his ambition got in with the wrong crowd. Maybe some kind of money making scheme just like RR had 10 years ago. RR's actions resulted in his dad and brother's deaths while Mandaar's actions led to his own death/disappearance.

Like RR, Pallavi is flawed too. She resorts to preaching and that doesn't work on anyone and especially won't in the case of someone young like Amrutha. Now Amrutha knows that the things her mom or VD do are inherently wrong. Thanks to Sulo, Pallavi ended up married to RR. Amrutha had a major crush on RR plus he was rich. Back during that time, I was like how dumb is Sulo for pushing Pallavi to RR instead of trying to trap RR for Amrutha. That way Amrutha could have gotten her man and Sulo his riches. Amrutha was right. What did she gain? It only backfired. Maybe she realizes that being good is what will actually be gainful just like how Pallavi's goodness got her so much in return.

Ugh you are right, I almost overlooked the chronology issues. How does Ved know about Mandaar's death/disappearance if he was in jail? Maybe he heard it through the grapevine, someone told him while he was incarcerated which is why he had to search him up but then how would he know if RR caused his death or whatever?

I'm loving the idea of Ved and Sunny as antagonists, I hope the plot lives up to expectations. I can't deal with Vijay and Sulochana as the main villains anymore, I need a break.

Sulochana's methods were beyond confusing. She was constantly making the narrative of Raghav and Pallavi being in a relationship, but also promising Amrutha she'd get her hitched to him? How... Like, was she going to convince everyone that Raghav dumped Pallavi, and is now with Amrutha, and that Raghav and Pallavi would play along? Or the family would be chill with that? Like, even after the whole abortion fiasco, she thought there was a chance?? When Kirti told her about RaghVi getting married, her first thought was about how Raghav should have been with Amrutha not Pallavi.

If Pallavi can grow out of her tendency to lecture and preach, I'd love for her and Amrutha to develop a good bond one day.
