Hi guyz,

I hd seen some comments on an article a few days back where a woman was complaining that she couldn't watch the show with her daughter as it showed romantic relationship between a professor and a student. Then she went on ranting about the sacred relationship between a teacher and student and how the show is maligning it. 🙄☹️

Ironically these same peple enjoy polygamy, EMA and manhandling of women on screen with much elan. Wt a bunch of hypocrites. 🤬😠

Its high time we change these preconceived set of notions. I hope the show keeps on addressing them.

This world is full of hypocrites.. can't do anything about it👍🏼

See its all about perspective..

For example-There are bunch of people who says that The Bhagavad Gita promotes war, sacrifice, destruction..but only wise people understand that this sacred text asks us fight every situation within ourselves!

In the same way, only wise people will understand that SAAKK is not about promoting teacher-student relationship..its about spreading a positive message to the society regarding women empowerment and relationships.

Ask if she would watch the other shows where sisters fight for one guy 🤣. Because that's the most normal thing on ITV anyways 🤣.

Tbh, if she dosen't like it, her choice. Let her stay away. But we will keep saying one thing, two adult individuals in this world are *allowed* to be in a relationship out of choice. We or the society cannot be the judge for them. It's their life, their choice. And this show is about breaking those societal beliefs and norms. If u love someone and want to be with them, fight for it.

I think people should respect each other's choices. Everyone has their own pov, likes dislikes. Some people watch saas bahu drama, some watch subtle drama shows, some youth shows. Though one may not like others choices but one should respect it. Teacher Student relationship is really pure no doubt but marriage is also a pure relationship. For some people glass is half empty for some it's half filled.

Many people watch saakk because of student professor romantic relationship. Many don't want to watch because of the same reason. It's people's choice what they want to watch or not 🙂

How shoddy 🤪

I'm yet to read the comments here but had to go ahead with my comment before anything. These are the same moms who has no problem watching literally any mahabarat that happens in the kitchens of ITV households, shows where manhandling happens & still the wife holds on to the MS, where the vamp tries to seduce another's husband & tries to sleep with them, where a wife gets insulted every now & then. Aise log kabhi sudhrege bhi nahi jab unhe ye nahi patha ki duniya kitni aage badh gayi hai.. Sigh...

I feel bad for the daughter 😄😄 I don't know whether SAAKK is actually giving them brains to understand there's nothing wrong in a Prof falling for a student & vice versa, if both parties are willing & happy. Specifically in this case where unlike many households, a husband is not making the wife stay at home & instead being happy with his wife being educated. Being joyous with her achievements...

I feel very sorry for her. Truly.

I would like to know what shows she judges safe and appropriate to watch with kiddos?

There are few shows dealing with education theme

Errr, don't tell me that crap where FL speaks no proper English, n is manipulative to its height, gives lifelong lessons abt how to lie in each n every situation. This???

Or the one where a whole bunch of chai lovers give daily dose of venom n curses as blessing before FL sets foot to go to college? This???

N as per my knowledge, if you are mature, adult, with a sane mind, you can get into a relationship. Period!!!

It ain't taboo anymore. Besides, the moment SS realised his feelings for Anokhi, he resigned as her professor. So, no conflict can ever arise.

N again, yes, professor-student can fall in love. I have a friend who married a lecturer. They were low key, but after 10 yrs, they are ever so happy. Their lives, their choice, their love.

if SAAKK is a problem, there's Disney channel. Works wonders.

Sorry for the rant.

I totally agree with you all.

I have nothing much to add. Just wanna say that I feel sorry for her.

People don't have problem watching a kid getting married to an old man. They don't hv prob a kid clad in a saree behaving like a woman and giving gyaan to others. But they have problem with a teacher and student relationship. Just look at all the high trp shows of SITARA.All are based on EMAs. They can watch Devar-Bhabhi EMA, Husband-colleague EMA, but they can't watch SAAKK.

Hypocrisy at it's best.

In higher education institutes young professors both male and female are more like a friend to students as all the students are adults. I remember when I was doing masters in Uni we had few young profs just finished their PhD or postdocs and joined Uni. And we interacted with them very informally.. had fun, went to field trips etc. A romantic relationship between prof student is very much possible and no one should judge… its actually pretty common… i have known quite a few such couples. We had a celebrity Prof couple in Uni.. both were highly educated and renowned… but they married as prof -student😀i can see their similarities with future shaurya &anokhi😍

This show makes me happy.. Some of the dialogues or the conversation happens between the characters touches my heart....at times I am able to relate to them, specially Anokhi's character..even Reema, Bubli,Astha, Anokhi's mum.,to name a few....

Why so much taboo over the love story, as per me they haven't shown anything bad which will give any wrong msg...none of them were married before and then they fall for each other and leaving either partner behind etc... We do accept such stories in the name of passionate love stories... Then why not this, where as the love story progresses, the character shows positive growth and leaves behind the negativity and starts welcoming the changes...

I visit this forum very rarely, some of you are frequently writing wonderful and also humorous posts here... but I do watch this show evey day and this is the only show I watch in the name of entertainment..... It brings smile on face... I wish good luck to all the people who are creating these 20 mins every day.... May their hard work pays off, they all be successful...and keep us entertaining for more and more....😊
