Today is RD Burman's birthday. He has given us many gems but some songs that come to my mind that fit the situation we are in are:
1. Wakt se pehle, kismat se jyada, Kisiko mila hai na kisiko milega
2. Kal kya hoga kisko pata, abhi zindagi ka lelo mazaa
3. Zindagi milke bitaayengey, haale dil gaa ke sunaayengey
4. Aanewala pal jaanewala hai

in the same year hum kisise kam nahi and kinara were released. See RD's versatality. But my favourite are still Laxmi-pyare. They were also great.

Many of the songs in Hum kisise kam nahi songs were 'inspired'. Kinara songs are original though.
LP were great too.
