Also, I had the craziest mind f* when I realised that the final season of AOS aired ONLY LAST YEAR DURING THE PANDEMIC...because in my memory it felt like a couple of years ago at least Time truly did lose all meaning over the last year.

As for AOS...I don't regret completing my watch, because I really enjoyed certain arcs and character growths etc., but a lot of the latter seasons were a bit of a slog for me. It helped that I could binge watch so I didn't lose interest while waiting for new eps to air.

But yeah, I did the same and started from the beginning. The latter seasons are so serialised and call back to things from way back in the early seasons, I definitely needed to watch from the beginning.

And this completes the "I must watch every MCU movie/TV show in chronological order" challenge I randomly set for myself a couple of months ago 😆 I mean I still have Loki to watch, but I'm waiting until I can binge that.

@bold....that would be a challenge. I've watched MCU and DC shows as i come across them. My knowledge of then is such a hotpot..no timeline what so ever. 🤣

Missed this edit. I wasn't a massive shipper the first time around though I did expect them to end up together, it being the "trope" and all, so while I was surprised by the twist, I was *even more* surprised and ultimately impressed that the show never tried to walk it back and somehow make it okay. Lesser shows have done that, and while I generally am a fan of redemption stories, in this case it really felt like that would have been a cop out, given the things Ward had done to the team. I very much enjoyed Skye/Daisy just...wanting nothing to do with him afterwards.

Also, the first time around I was irrationally very annoyed when they changed her name from Skye to Daisy 😆 I think I refused to call her that for ages...

I find the whole concept of the blind desire to go to Canada effing hilarious...But Kanneda fans and Colors to deadwa fans right now: Tujh ko Mirchi Lagi Toh Main Kya Karoon? 🤣 From having the lowest to the highest TRP. I guess giving shows some time does work 🤷‍♀️.

Also can we please go at just how extra the SAAKK fans are? They sent this sweet and gift packs you give wedding guests, to the entire cast (and maybe whole unit) on the Leads shaadi 🤦‍♀️. I suppose it must be sweet but... this. too. extra. Imo.

LOL not as much as I thought it would be, tbh. It helps that they're all on Disney Plus, and the movies are not that long either so I got through them quite quickly. Agent Carter was only 2 seasons, and WandaVision and Falcon were between 8 and 10 episodes. AOS was the only one that presented a bit of a challenge - not only is it 7 seasons, but it moves around the timeline so much - at times completely branching off - that I just decided to save it all until the end.

I happened to curiously check out the Live of the leads of the show one day...and they accepted follower requests. Sweet. Until the crazy fans came on camera. I think I died from the cringe that night. I was burning in second hand embarassment too..

Added another point to my gratitude list that night 😆

It's not even the cash...like, they're talking about the Delta Plus variant now in India which is a spin-off of a variant that's already ravaged the country...and randos are sending other randos edible goods from rando places 😕 like...who knows HOW many people and places have handled those gifts before they got to the actors...and they're just happily accepting them (and I imagine eating them too)?

Arshi, I am not a avid Marvel or DCU follower as such and most definitely could never watch in chronological order. I guess it works against me that I dont have Disney Plus 😒😆. Like D, I would consider it difficult. I am more of a standalone movie/series person. But AOS caught my attention when my brother was watching it. Definitely worth it.

Its a long time since I watched it so I have forgotten major plot links and chunks of the story. But when they first showed Ward not being who he was, I was first obviously in denial. With the whole 'possession' (UH SPOILER ALERT!), I assumed they would backtrack and pin on him not being in his senses to justify him. Made fair and sense to be since like you, I thought Skye/Daisy-Ward were endgame. But his actions kinda worsened .. I was confused. It was a lost case. Looking back, I am also glad they never went back on it and sank the ship. I'd save further thoughts for until I rewatch incase I am misremembering something here and out of touch with exactly how I felt then.
