I don't know about disease , even though karma strikes back, I can't say.

But I do want them to be emotionally vulnerable , at some point struggling to get what is rightfully theirs but they can never have it.

As in, after all this, devi tai matter was very easy on kaku, and karma strikes. When you can't respect others, you don't deserve it as well. When they loose their kids to their ploys, what then. Then when guilt rises up their throat, it will be unbearable. And this should happen, their own lit lanterns, should burn them. Cuz what better, or what worse, when they will have no one to blame ,not even fate.
