I'm so happy Daadi threatened Rhea with that same old "barbaad kar dungi" dialogue. Khaandaani lagta hain yeh threat 🤣 But I felt so much sukoon in that moment uff
Their scene was actually done well. Dadi was protective of Sonu and showed her intentions very well. Rhea should be scared to double cross dadi in the future. I think dadi will remember this and if Ishqaan gets separated according to her plan, she would not let Rhea marry Ahaan.

I find it interesting how Ishqi, even now, finds it easier to confide in Karthik and not Ahaan. It shows that while Ishqaan are aware of their love for each other, they still have a LONG way to go in order to forge a bond where Ishqi's first instinct in the face of a family crisis is not to seek Karthik. I understand that you don't necessarily have to share everything with your life partner but shouldn't that be because you choose not to share, and not because you can't rely on them or can't count on them to have faith in you? This steep learning curve Ishqaan are about to experience and will continue experiencing could turn into something great if the directors do their job right.

Exactly. I'll admit I didn't expect this scene considering how negative they turned Daadi. It made two things clear: 1) no matter how selfish or evil she is, she is going to be protective of Sonu and Ahaan (especially Sonu) under all circumstances and 2) somewhere deep down, Daadi too believes Ishqi to be genuinely good and not a home-wrecker. When the police informed them of the FIR, she knew right away that it wasn't Ishqi, she didn't even have to ask Rhea for confirmation. She might hate Ishqi now all she wants but when it comes down to Rhea's values vs Ishqi's, she knows who can stoop so low as to tarnish her family's/Sonu's reputation.

I also liked that bit a lot. Ishqi did not trust that Ahaan will trust her. Ahaan did not earn that trust yet. It would have been very ridiculous if all of sudden Ishqi has blind trust for Ahaan. We generally see marriage as last step. When you are very sure, trust your partner completely then you marry but that is not the case always. Marriage is just one step and there is lot more to learn after marriage also. I also liked that they have a doubt if they are doing everything in ahurry. Ishqaan journey has started now, they are taking that leap of faith with this step of marriage but their love is still in the nascent stage. This sapling needs to undergo lot of things to grow into a tree.
This is not a Love marriage but I think Half Love marraige 😆 Their love story will continue to evolve after marriage❤️
