Exactly. On the contrary Sai has been consistent. She was brash n impulsive and she is that way with everyone. Not flip flopping. Plus we are seeing her growth and maturity. She acknowledges thst she's perceived as "gussail" and she told Ashwini that she tries not to get angry. She is trying to control herself. Her behavior with pp n parents was very mature. And this time unlike ladakh trip she even tried to understand virats pov. That time she burst on him even though she knew it wasny deliberate but this time she has become more mature and said- its not your fault. Its just pp being a b**ch. So Sai is very slowly trying to change. She even had been shown understanding that virats actions show his haq jatana. She is really trying to let her walls down. But obviously her insecurities wont vanish in a day. But if suicide track happens then Virat would have shown no reflection/progress/change in his outlook. Coz he is letting pp manipulate him despite knowing her intentions. Thats the problem. I dont think the insecurities or doubting Sai is- because its his fear that she will find someone her age and may wanna move on but if he lets pp be the one to drive a wedge then its a problem.

This insecurity track has potential to be great if handled well

Also imo, Sai bringing up virat pp is not entirely the same as Virat misunderstanding Sai n her friend.

Some things overlap- insecurity, hurt about not being priority in your spouses life etc.

So yes, i understand Virat feeling insecure.

But Virat pp was legit. Sai didnt accuse them on basis of one MU. It was something she has been living with since day 1 with no clarification from Virat. Pp has not been subtle about her interference, hate for Sai or her motives. Yet Virat postponed clarifying and led her to her outburst.

But if they copy KD, Virat is letting pp of all people provoke him. If he had felt insecure because he caught Sai being friendly with a guy chatting with him etc. its different. it could be that he felt upset seeing her being friendly with a guy in college on more than one occasion. But one time seeing Sai in the bedroom with a guy just chatting/laughing with the room door open is not nearly enough or comparable to Sai and what she goes through.

Also if Sai truly wanted to have an affair, she would not invite the guy to CN to her bedroom. She would be meeting him outside in multiple hang out spots in college/nagpur city like shivani bua did.

In KD, Virat blew up over something seemingly too trivial just coz pp exerted her influence and power on him.

So its not the insecurity or accusation thats the problem, its the falling for pp's manipulation that is the problem.

And Sai has been the brash one who blurts things out whereas Virat is the one who measures every word. He didn't acknowledge the truth about him-pp to prevent pp from getting embarrassed. So even if he doubts Sai, Virat unlike Sai is not expected to lose his cool like she does.

So i dont think i would fault virat for getting insecure or accusing Sai even. But if he does so on the basis of something super trivial like they showed in KD and on the basis of what pp says alone despite knowing how she has made it her lifes objective to separate him n Sai then that's just stupid.

LOL... I meant in terms of Virat and Sai's relationship and how they don't force romance. The progression of their comfort levels has been really refreshing to watch for me personally, especially when compared to other shows I've seen.

I think it's not about forcing romance it's more about their lazy writing or complete copy pasting in this regard. They don't have the skills to write such nuanced script which you're crediting them for.

Virat was almost a side character for the past two weeks, he barely has lines. The zillat Arena takes up most of the episode, they don't have time for sairat. Jab fans ka gussa kam karna ho tab sairat yaad aata hai bas.

This show is nothing but lazy writing with absolutely brilliant actors. The show is working only because of the actors

I agree with you completely. In my opinion, Virat and Sai's insecurities cannot even come close to being the same. Virat told Sai on their wedding day to not expect anything from him. She constantly sees Pakhi preying on her husband, and knows that they have a history together. Anyone in her position would feel insecure.
