I swear after every episode lately, I only have one thing to say. And that is that I have never seen such a natural and pure relationship in any Indian TV show. Despite all of the BS the makers put us through, the progression of Sairat's relationship is so real and raw. The first half of today's episode was pure magic. From the teasing to the understanding to the almost-forehead kiss.
A few things that stood out to me were that first and foremost, one of the things I love most about this couple is how supportive they are of each other's careers. As Sai said today, they understand the importance their respective careers have in their lives and they are each other's biggest cheer leaders. Sai's characters is one of favorites ever in television. She is so genuine and kindhearted. The way she told Virat that she will never stand between his duty and him ever again. And of course the way he responded that she is his forever strength. And another thing. The progression of Sai's love for Virat has been so incredible to watch. As he leans in to kiss her today, she closes her eyes waiting for his lips to touch her forehead. She is no longer scared or weary of his touch. After yesterday's hug initiated by her, this was yet another indication of her progression in his love. However, both of these moments were more emotional rather than physical. You could feel the passion coming out of both of them, but it was as if their souls are connecting, not simply their bodies. It is just so refreshing and amazing to watch.
As for the rest of the episode, the only thing worth watching was aai taking a stand for both herself and Sai. She is learning from Sai, and I think that is so beautiful. I am just praying that this saree drama doesn't continue for the rest of the week. And if it does, maybe we can at least get a Sairat phone call. It's getting so tiring to see the family, led by Pakhi, hating on Sai every chance they get. Virat's mission better end ASAP lol.
Oh and one last thought regarding the precap. It pissed me off how Sai spoke about her relationship with Virat. Yes, Pakhi pushed her to do so, but it was just unnecessary. But, looking at it from another light, it really shows how Sai is clearly falling in love with and deeply cares for Virat, but she still is not in touch with all of her feelings. On the other hand, Virat, in terms of realizing his feelings, is fully on board and whipped for her. Both of them have to overcome this disconnect... Sai has to come to terms with her feelings, which at this point are not fully developed, and both of them need to build the security in their relationship which is clearly not there.
