Sid defo cares for Mithai, there's no doubt in there, and as @mishti_unicorn mentioned in one of her earlier posts that Sid cares for Mithai to the extent that seeing her upset upsets him, and he's not understanding the reason behind it and that's why Torsha's words are affecting him so much.... like the conversation with Tess right after Mithai's call to Sid in the first WFH episode and then, Sid visiting Mithai at Rajib da's house in the middle of the night to finish their "pending" (please I would've found a better excuse, jk 😉) discussion about Mithai's future.
From what I could gather, his heart unknowingly aches when he sees Mithai in pain or hurt because his subconscious has accepted Mithai and has harbored strong feelings for her, while his consciousness is still trying hard to make him believe that he does not believe in "biyer bondhon and valobasha". Hence he feels entitled to protect her and take care of her, something that is beyond his understanding. Something that has been pointed out by Tess on several occasions in the past few weeks and the latest being when Sid rushes to Monohora once Dadai calls him in telling him about Mithai cutting her hand (istg! this woman needs to stop making dishes with begun; last time she burnt her hand and this time she cut her hand).
Yesterday's non-sensical and sympathy dialogue might have sounded rude, but it was meant to show the underlying assurance he was giving her (at least that's what I interpreted).... "you are still the boro bou of the Modak family, you have all the rights, you don't need to worry about it!" But, sigh! being the dumbass (sorry😃, just needed to get that out) Siddharth Modak is, he phrased it out wrong, and Mithai misinterpreted it! This guy seriously needs to man up and have a talk with himself. He needs to get down his high horse and look at the world through the eyes of the people around him and stop being insensitive rash (he's been coming closer to his family, all thanks to a certain girl with a bicycle named Munni).
Oh and I almost forgot (for @anjani-pagli), Sid ko dekh ke lagRhea hai ki usko AVM rog ho gya hai. Kya bhaga tha kal bande ne! Soon our ucchebabu will find his Ishq wala love in his toofan mail and (for @Sutapasima) Shaurya his Anokhi.
Sorry for the rant, but I'll be able to complete my project with full conce-conce mane mon bosanor je cheshta now (For those who have not watched the episode, sorry in advance for the spoiler and those who have 😆)
Peace! ✌🏻

I totally agree that Sid is in Denial-land😆
He has still nt become Shaurya to bravely chase for his love.😆
And Tess words are although little rude, in a way she s telling the truth. The truth which is actually hurting Sid, because he subconsciously knows they r truth but he is yet to accept them.
He always kept his office above everything else, now Mithai is snatching that No.1 position also.
Lets see how CVs have plan to make Sid surrender😆 We need Rudra's help

@bold - Policebabu has been mentioned a few times in the past episodes so I think the CVs are planning to get him back with a bang!

Yesterday's episode has been summed up here very well, but I'd like to keep my point of view as well, so here's it 👇🏻
These outbursts were very much needed (but they chose the wrong time as Mithai said), although there was no right or wrong in there.
Ratul's behaviour towards Sree was simply unacceptable and it can, in no way, be justified. We know he needs time but that doesn't mean he'll use Sree as his punching bag whenever he wants to.
Sid's concern as a brother was understood (and after witnessing the trauma his mother went through at such a young age, we can see where he is coming from), but him taking decisions for Sree or anyone for that matter is intolerable, especially when it comes to two grown-up women who are more than capable of deciding what they can or want to do themselves.
The confrontation between Sid and Ratul was very much required because both showed the mirror to each other (Sid questioning Ratul's harsh behaviour towards Sree and Ratul, in return, telling Sid that he used to do the same with Mithai not long ago). Both of them have no right to judge each other because they are on the same boat.
Mithai carries around a lot of patience and when that dam cracks, all hell breaks loose. Therefore, Mithai shutting Sid up was the highlight of the episode for me. From the very beginning, we can see that when Sid's angry, he's angry. No one can dare tell him that he might be wrong. Thus, seeing Mithai stand up to him with such vigour and pointing out that he cannot take decisions for someone else was refreshing and for the first time ever, the big bad angry bull shut up. (bad reference, sorry 🤣)
Also, there is some secret in the family. The shock on Somoresh's and Thammi's faces when Som said he went to meet his biological mother was quite evident. They know something and that might be the key to Somoresh's rude behaviour towards Aarti (Sid's mom) as pointed out by Sid on several occasions.
On a lighter note, look at Nanda standing at the back and staring at SidHai. She be like - Damn dude, she's scary! Remind me to never make this woman angry.
Oh! Right! I would also love to see a monologue of Sid pondering over Ratul's words... there should be an impact or the writers never would have made Ratul behave like that with Sree in the first place.

Well explained thoughts. Thts exactly summed up yday episode. On another note I would also like to mention that being a sacrifical queen actually doesnt solve a problem. Though Mithai stopped Sid and made him keep quiet, whatever he said make more sense than what Mithai tried to explain.
If one member of a family is taking a wrong decision, its a resp of other members to correct that decision.
I knw its a story and reel life and at the end all will be well, but if it was a reality Sreetama's decision is the most wrong decision ever.

Very well said!!
I'm highly disliking the track Ratul-Sree's relationship is taking. Couple of points:
1) I understand Ratul is unable to accept his marriage to Sree. But he was shown to be a good human being initially, but he himself has murdered that image now. The situation that he is in is almost the same situation Sree is in. But his situation cannot be an excuse for the way he talks to Sree. Yesterday he screamed at Sree for not walking in on him and Nipa talking. I mean WHAT? She was only being polite. Had she actually walked in on them, Ratul would have screamed making her "mistrust" an issue.
2) Sree defending Ratul so vehemently and getting teary-eyed over all that he says is confusing me. Is she in love with him already? She doesnt deserve this behaviour and I actually agree with Sid on this. She should just stay in monohora here on and walk out of this namesake relationship, which is only paining everyone.
3) Ratul dislikes his marriage with Sree. Fine. He loves Nipa. Ok, fine. But when Sree proposes a divorce in one year, he says "why is divorce coming into the picture". Does he want to be in the marriage or not???
4) How on earth can Ratul justify his behaviour by saying "Sid does the same thing". Two wrongs do not make a right. Sid's behaviour with Mithai is/was pathetic, but nobody in their right mind can use that as an excuse to misbehave with someone else.
5) I absolutely hate how the modak family is hopping skipping and jumping about Ratul and Sree's wedding like it was what they had wanted since 1972. Thammi and all others keep pretending nothing has happened and Ratul and Sree are just as happy as any other married couple, all though very clearly they are not. The marriage has happened under odd circumstances and acknowledging the fact that things are not normal now (instead of all that "nekami" and the rituals) and will take time to get better would have helped them both grow, in my opinion.
