Waise kal aur aaj ke episodes mein Gashmeer ki range ki tareef karte hua mujhe ek bad realize hui, that as much as we appreciate both Sumbul & him for their acting, we realy have to also give a lot of that credit to teh director. This struck me even more because I watched some of Gasmeer's older work, even 2 of his hindi movies, and it struck me as to how bland his expressions were wahaan pe. wahaan pe chemistry chodo, aise lag raha tha that the leads were just physically present. Yahaa jaise aankhon aanhon mein khel hota hai, micro expressions ko hum analyse karke meaning nikalte hai, wahaan pe toh pages and pages ke dialogue bhi pheeka pad raha tha. That really showed me the value of having a good team and specially having a good director who can get out your best performance, one which you would not have felt existed in you. It just felt amazing, just how much this guy has grown.
