The bench, however, allowed Siddiquee to amend the application and add the Passport Authority of India as a party. It issued notice to the respondents and posted the matter for hearing on June 25.

So she went - or sent someone since we didn't see her usual photo op - to the police station to renew her passport instead of the Passport Authority.

Why is the court even allowing them to amend their complaint when they're complaining against one party that doesn't issue passports and the other which was never asked in the first place.
