And this is what happens to majority of us common people in India especially, arranged marriages do work like that.. and that's the reality ITV is far far away from it and we can't really do anything about it as such😂 Pak dramas I love for their realness

ITV I grew up with in late 80s and 90s was not like this not at all. We had finite series, multiple genres, awesome storylines with stellar cast and acting. It is only since EKta came into SP in 2000, things got bad and eventually was ruined. My last show was in Zee TV named Amanat, after that I quit watching ITV until I returned in 2011, still things did not improve.

ITV in 80s and 90s used to be much more progressive and realistic than what we see now. What Pak drama is now, ITV had that 30 yrs ago😃

Thank you! We have had our share of ups and downs as a family but always stayed and worked things together. My kids are wary of the fact that they don’t have the support system like how my husband and I had when grew up in India. So they are trying to learn and get better every single day.

BTW, all 3 are very supportive of me watching PS and spend countless hours on the forum. They know that I will never let them down😆

Agreed! Those shows were something else! 2000 ruined it again.

Please don’t think I am touting my personal life here. There are many I know who have had successful marriages better than mine in my close friends circle. The reason I posted this, to bring positivity and things are not that bad if you find the right person and it is not like what they show on ITV currently. Real life is much different than ITV fictional life😃

I am at a stage of life where I highly doubt if love even exists or two People just get together for the sake of convenience and learn to live with it.

Lol the other day I was showing my husband the bathtub scene and telling him aisa kabhi real life me kyu nahi hota🤣 and he started laughing and said if this ever happens in real life your first reaction would be to jump out of that tub and the first thing you will do is clean the bathroom floor! I have an OCD. Baaki husband paani me gira hai ya nahi that comes baadme🤣 Just kidding, ofcourse I would care but you get the point these things never happen in real life!🤣
