Sai standing up for karishma and Virat standing up for Sai is not the same thing. Sai is Virats wife. She deserves to know his truth, his past and his state of mind. She asked for clarification on his status with pp repeatedly and he didnt answer her. But we still expect Virat to stand up for Sai despite the awkwardness/embarrassment of the public revelation because he knows what led to it. He knew pp's intentions.He knows the truth. Virat had ample opportunities to take Sai away but he further provoked her to reveal everything in front of family himself.
Pp calling mohit-Sai out is purely out of spite snd not based on objective facts like Sai. And mohit's reaction to Karishma is entirely between him and his wife. They need to sort it out themselves. Just like Virat- Sai need to sort things out themselves.
Plus Virat knows what Sai is really like and therefore we have an expectation from him to stand up for her.
Sai doesn't know karishma, all she knows is that she throws people under the bus and gets sadistic pleasure in other's pain. So when Karishma decides to side with pp when she accuses Mohit , Sai has nothing to do with it. Unlike pp who was rendered speechless Sai actually provided her clarification about what her relationship with Mohit is. Rest is between mohit-karishma to talk amongst each other. Unlike pp, Sai is not someone to interfere between a couple and speak in between like pp does between Sairat. Sai never got in between them and wont do so in future too like pp comes in between her and her Virat sir.
Mohit yelling at karishma is double edged for me. On the one hand i feel he should not treat her this way in front of all and talk to her in private but on the other hand, she is simply being spiteful even when she knows the truth. She simply hates on Sai for no reason even though Sai has done her no harm. Infact she stood by Mohit when Karishma, sonali, omi couldn't. Karishma never stands by Mohit when he needs her and she is a pretty shitty person who has no conscience whatsoever. She cares only about herself. So its about time she gets to have some tough talk handed to her.
Despite that i think its unreasonable for mohit to attack karishma rather than pp.
Karishma by trying to shade her husband infront of the family when Pakhi raised a question that even she never though ever, knowing very well how Sai has been right all along about Patralekha and how Mohit considers Sai his Vehni was also wrong.. Mohit's reactions were result of those actions.. Karishma was wrong there..I did not support him the other day he said he will throw her out however today she was wrong..And no its not same as Sai questioning Patralekha and Virat because Sai doesnt go around shaming Karishma, questioning her love/her care for Mohit and barging in their room at any time and demanding attention. There was no reason for Sai to support her, instead she should have questioned even Karishma for her accusation or her and Mohit.. Coming to Karishma and Mohit, well they both are same, none of the two take stand for each other. Nor their parents take stand for them. The four are a family of same qualities. For MOhit taking sides, Karishma has to be right, she has never been right especially after he started speaking up. All she does is put aag mei ghee.. and Mohit usually lets it go but does get angry at times..Just like Virat does with Sai ..
