Hello Everyone! How are you doing? I hope you all are well. I know it's been a while since I have updated the story. The thing is that I have been really busy juggling college, work, and other things. I had finals a couple of days ago and it was really exhausting to prepare for.

However, I know I have an obligation towards my stories and readers. So I have decided to tie up my hair and start writing the next parts. I will update the next part in a few days.

Part 4

Hello Everyone! I hope you have been well. I know all of you were waiting a long time to update my stories and I really appreciate your patience. So I am not going to waste any more time. Here you go:

Riddhima felt her breath hitch as she looked at the man standing in front of her glaring at everyone. Vansh! Riddhima thought looking at him standing with the same confidence, same intimidating stance, same fire in his eyes. He is Vansh. He has to be. There is no way a Vihaan can act this precise being like Vansh, that too when he never met him. He is looking as imposing as ever with his powerful aura, even the CBI officers look like kittens next to him.

“So much has been going on recently and I am so tired of all this drama and plotting that I am not going to beat around the bush.” Vansh looked at the CBI officers and said, “Let’s get this thing done with.” The CBI Chief Officer, Mahesh nodded at him and Angre took it as his cue and connected a drive to the living room TV.

The drive had all the CCTV footage stored inside along with some audio. It played everyone's deeds like a movie, Anupriya and Ishani locking Riddhima in the coal room, Aryan sexually harassing her, Anupriya making her walk on glass pieces, poisoning the watermelon, Aryan and Chachi’s multiple attempts to kill Riddhima, Kabir and Anupriya planning together and confessing to killing Ragini, Sathe, DSR and Vansh’s mother. The video finished after bringing everyone's truth.

Pin drop silence.

That’s what everyone heard after the video finished. No one was able to speak anything for a while. They all looked like the ground below them was gone. Vansh looked at everyone’s face one by one, enjoying their reaction before resting on Riddhima’s face. She looked confused, surprised, and pained watching the video.

Vansh saw her looking at him with a questioning gaze as if asking him what’s all this. Why is he doing this? He broke their eyelock, not being able to look at her eyes longer. He will never find the courage to look at her, not before he punishes everyone.

“I knew my family. I knew that everyone was thirsty for my money and properties and would betray me one day. But I never knew that they would be so low to harass and abuse a woman who has done nothing but love and care for everyone.” Vansh spoke as he glanced at the traitors.

“Even knowing your nature and actions, I have always protected and saved you all because I considered you my family. Khoon ka rishta hai jo humara. But now I won’t anymore.”

Everyone looked up hearing him say that. They were scared of what’s going to happen to them. All these years, they did what they felt like, never worrying about the consequences because they knew Vansh would protect them, and he had.

Even though they were always planning behind his back, to take the properties, to take over the business, to see him going down, Vansh never backed down from his obligations and they took advantage of that. But now, he is the one going to be punishing them. There is no one who would be able to save them now.

“I should have punished you for your first mistake. I should have never covered up your wrongdoings. Then we probably wouldn’t have to see this day.” Vansh spoke with a hard look on his face. “After everything I have done for you all, you shouldn’t have at least hurt me or my wife, forget about doing anything good or useful for us.”

“Vansh beta, please forgive us. Please forgive us this last time. I promise Aryan and I will be good. We will not do anything against you and Riddhima. Just forgive us this time.” Chachi cried folding her hands and pleaded for forgiveness. “Ha Bhai. I am sorry for what I did. Mujhe wo sab nahi karna chahiye tha, bachpana tha.” Aryan also joined her mother and asked for forgiveness.

“Bachpana? Aryan you are not a five years old kid that you call it bachpana. You are a grown-up adult who knows what consequences your actions can lead to. But you still chose to do them. And now, you are going to suffer the consequences you ignored.” Vansh then turned his gaze to his sister Ishani, who was standing without looking guilty or afraid of the consequences. She still thought nothing was going to happen to her.

Vansh shook his head at her and turned towards Kabir. “Kabir. I wonder what’s running through your small head now. All your plans have failed. You and your mother have been caught. You have nowhere to run. And you have brutal punishment waiting for you. I did a favor on Mahesh once. I am sure you know how I am going to ask him to pay me back. I bet this is not how you have imagined the game to be over, did you? You lost.”

Kabir who was silent for all this time started chuckling. “You know, when I saw Riddhima falling in love with you, that’s when I felt like I had lost. Because I knew she was a prized possession. She can die and kill for the person she loves. And you Vansh now had another great thing in your life. I hated that but couldn’t help it. So I decided to take all the other things I could away from you.”

“I might have lost the game Vansh but you too have lost something. The way you have played with her was worse than how I used her. Even if she decides to forgive you, this is never going to go away. It will always be there like a huge crack between your relationship. You will realize with time what it is that you have lost.” Kabir had a smirk on his face as he finished speaking.

Vansh stiffened listening to Kabir. He knew Kabir was right. Even if Riddhima forgives him, things will not stay the same between them anymore. He broke her trust, betrayed her, broke his promises, he is not sure if he is ever going to get back her complete and utter trust in him again. Composing himself, he told the CBI officers to take him away. “Officers, take him and his mother away. And make sure to torture them to death.”

“No! Vansh, you can’t do this to me. I am your mother Vansh. You can’t send me to jail. Vansh!” Anupriya screamed as the officers were taking her away. Vansh watched them being dragged by the officers with his hands inside his pockets.

He gestured them to stop and said, "Even if you were my stepmother, I respected and cared for you like you were my own mother. I never in my wildest dreams have ever thought that you were the one who killed my mother.

Just because all the care and love you gave showered me even if it was fake, I am being merciful to you. Otherwise, I would have shown you hell before your death," he said with a cold voice and gestured the officers to take them away. After they were gone from his view, he turned towards his family.

“I would have liked to take things on my hand and punish you in my way but I seriously don’t want to be involved with you all anymore.” He looked at Ishani and said, “Being my sister, I thought you would care about me, my happiness. But you did what you wanted without caring about anything else. I can’t send you to jail as you're pregnant. I can’t punish your child for your wrongdoings. But I don’t want to see you in this mansion anymore.”

Ishani looked at him in shock as he uttered those words. “I want you to leave the house today itself. You can’t take any jewelry or money that was bought with my money. I am also going to block all your cards. You are going to be on your own. I don’t care what you do or where you go from now on. And Angre will decide if he wants to stay with you or divorce you. I will support his decision.”

Everyone was shocked to hear him. They couldn’t believe that Vansh was throwing his sister out of the house. They didn’t think he would be this serious about punishing them. Aryan and Chachi gulped thinking if he punished Ishani like this, then their punishment would be worse. Ishani was the most shocked one. She couldn’t believe that her brother, who was always there for her, was doing this.

“Bhai! You can’t be serious. You can’t throw me out. I am your sister. And this mansion belongs to me too. I am not going anywhere,” Ishani yelled, being agitated.

“I am damn serious, Ishani. You should have remembered I am your brother before you did all these things. And you are wrong, this mansion is mine. I have earned every single thing with my hard work. So get out!” Vansh glared at Ishani not budging from his decision.

He then moved to Aryan and Chachi and said, “You know, no matter the bitterness between us, I thought we will be able to overcome the differences as a family, and Aryan will actually prove to be a good help in the business. I guess I was wrong.” He sighed and gestured to the police officers who stayed back.

“Officers, take them away and charge them with every little crime they have committed.”

“No! Bhai, no! Please don’t do this. We are your family. Please don’t send us to jail. I promise I will never go behind your back again. Please.” Aryan begged, folding his hands while the police officers were trying to cuff their hands.

“Riddhima, please he will listen to you. Tell him not to do this. You care about this family right?” Chachi ran to Riddhima and shook her body. But Riddhima stood still while watching everything silently. She just had a blank expression on her face.

Dadi watched as the police officers dragged her daughter-in-law and grandson away from their sight. She just saw her whole family fall apart in a blink of an eye. She knows that they did wrong. But being the eldest in the family, she still wants her family to be one, together. She has always wanted to see her family stay together and now she just can’t take it falling apart. She looked at the person who suffered the most because of them and yet kept protecting them.

She walked towards Riddhima and said, “Beta, I know you have been through a lot because of our family. Mujhe nahi pata ki main kis muh se tujhse maafi mangu. But still, please forgive us. I know ki mera koi haq nahi hai but I request you, don’t let this family fall apart. I know they did wrong to you but please forgive them. I can’t see my family fall apart.” Dadi cried holding Riddhima’s hands into hers.

Riddhima looked at her blankly and removed her hands and said, “I don’t know why you are saying this to me dadi. I am not the one who sent your family to jail. And about forgiving them, I did keep forgiving them no matter what they did to me because I considered you all my family. But I guess you never considered me as your family. That’s why you are asking this.” Riddhima moved away from her and walked upstairs without giving anyone a second glance.
