I'm also not sure if that is popular or unpopular 😆. I also find Saif quite underrated. I think his subtle acting is perceived as lack of acting. He doesn't try to be over the top just to convey his emotions or portray a character. He plays his roles very convincingly.

My unpopular opinion is that acting is not rocket science and almost everyone can be decent if they get a good movie. They get way too much praise and prizes for something that is fairly easy. That's why nepotism rules this profession because the reality is that anyone can do it so people give the job to their loved ones.

I find most method acting stories to be exaggerations and lies. Like how someone locked themselves in a room for months to get into character. Or how they didn't shower for weeks to feel homeless and stupid stuff like that. You aren't a very good actor if you can't just fake it instead of doing all that. I think all this is just to give heft to themselves and pretend like they're working so hard.

I also don’t find him charming or witty, but creepy and annoying. Also overacting ki Dukaan.

Well said 😆

Yaaaas the second part …especially with bolly movies

I mean we do hear stories of Hugh jackman and Christian bale starving themselves for roles …I believe that bit …I believe when they do things to drastically change appearance for a role

I just roll my eyes when I listen to such stories about how they “actually got injured” to authentically emote pain…or locked themselves up and went into the “dark zone” to emote negative emotions …

Bhai then appoint me as the actor no…I will also emote pain when I’m injured….and act crazy by actually going crazy locking myself in rooms for days ..,why are u an actor then?

Even with the starvation some HW actors have done - WHY? I don't think any role justifies putting your body at risk like that. It has very long range implications. It can really harm your organs. And then these movies and roles get hyped for that thing in particular, not because the movie is that great. These are just dangerous gimmicks. Actors have it so easy that they deliberately create problems for themselves to feel like great artists.

And then Indian actors learn from that and do a fake version of it. They release 'making of the body' videos where they've pumped themselves with steroids or have put on fake mustaches or colored their hair red. I've seen Aamir release articles about how he took two years to grow his hair to look authentic instead of sticking in extensions. Oh the dedication!! You just wanted to sit at home and relax for two years. Who are you kidding? Or Ranveer locking himself in a room for months to play Khilji which was almost a direct lift from Khal Drogo. And as if we didn't see you attending every event in town wearing clown clothes. I would have noticed if I didn't see you for months. Or the drama Deepika did crying in a press conference about throwing away her prosthetic - girl I don't think you learned anything from your acid survivor movie if you're bragging about the relief you felt about getting rid of the ugly prosthetic. These people are all better actors off-screen than on-screen. 😆

There's a reason why every nepo-kid wants to become an actor. They KNOW it's an easy job.

Sushant Singh Rajput was grossly overrated in every department/aspect! He was just a below average, ordinary looking man with mediocre acting skills, horrible diction, poor dialogue delivery and pathetic voice modulation. And his screen presence was blah as well 🥱

Vicky Kaushal is another overrated thing! Ugh I will never understand why some girls are always drooling over his looks? 🤢 He is terribly unattractive and he totally looks like the replica of Prabhu Deva 🤮🤮

Heck even actingwise he is no big deal....like nothing to write home about 😴

And lastly....Katrina is a LOUSY dancer! Gosh she is just so mechanical, robotic, lifeless and stiff 🤐
