I felt every emotion of shiva, raavi and maami also did a fantastic job in potraying her hatred for shiva.

I have read some comments which said why did raavi not stand up for shiva?

According to me she did...she clearly said to maami not to taunt shiva. She was trying to stop the fight between them and backed out only after shiva shouted at her.

Given the fact that raavi is an orphan who was raised by maami, it is very difficult for her to completely cut her off from her life.she has told her many times not to Interfere in her sasuraal, she is not influenced by the venom she spews,she has no intention of breaking her marriage and she also said maami to go back today.

We all have seen from the previous episodes that the pandya family is not perfect either, they push emotional issues down the rug, use violence and forced apologies to improve relations, the women are always treated poorly, be it dhara rishita or raavi.

In all this I feel raavi is the most compassionate and lovable character. Given the circumstances of her marriage she is doing a brilliant job in handling her maayka and sasural. Her emotional turmoil got to me today.

No doubt shiva's pain, hurt and anger of 10 yrs resurfaced today and that was painful to watch, but somewhere I felt a little more for raavi.
