But he couldnt 'win' her even then. So there's that as well. No whitewashing.

Alsoo yes, that clip is from Zindagi Gulzar Hai as Nina said. Sanam Saeed who played Kashaf does have a beautiful voice imo. Remember how we discussed about Bani being less expressive about her emotions in the initial days and how we could relate to her emotionally challenged ways? Kashaf has a lot of that streak and was closed off like that. I also think the lead pair in the show was quite unconvential .. and yet worked like a charm. Was beautiful watching them . Look at me going on about it 😆. Let us know if and when you watch it. Its less than 30 episodes I guess. Waiting for D to finish up too.

Also y'all. I said I never watched Friends. But instagram has been bombarding me with clips from the show and the reunion. I think it was Big Brother at work after the whole twitter convo 😆. At this point I feel like I have watched a huge chunk of both.... and I am getting emotional watching all the compilations and reunions and all as if I was a proper viewer and fan 😆

I think I stopped watching Saubhagyavati around the time they went for that leap...it was a really uncomfortable show to watch for obvious reasons, and not least bc I only started watching it bc I missed KVB as Prem on KZK...so followed him over here where his character was the absolute worst. But it was definitely a novel attempt for an ITV show not to whitewash an abusive man just because he was played by a goodlooking actor, or to "redeem" him or have the sacrificial FL's pure lowe "heal" him and make a better man, etc.

Oh, ZGH is only 30 eps? LOL IDK why I thought it would be as long as an ITV daily 🤣 is it on YouTube? I'll see if I can check it out sometime.

You never watched Friends? 😲 It was on here all day, every day for years. That said, though I have a nostalgic love for it, it's not something I go back and rewatch anymore, and I prefer other comedies even if they're less culturally famous (have you guys seen Happy Endings? Criminally underrated).
