Appreciation mail to sitara

Hi guys,

I am in LOVE WITH SAAKK and for me ShaKhi is an emotion for sure !

As we have been hearing speculation since the last two months about our shows falling / stable trp, lack of promo by channel and show being taken off air.. I just want to share my thoughts -

1. A very popular show on Netflix was axed by its channel Fox after 3 seasons. But thanks to fans efforts, it was picked up by Netflix and will soon have its 6th and final season. This show is just one example of the power of fd!

2. IF WE want to pave the path of changing the content of ITV ( something that makes us happy vs something that makes us cringe), all 65k of us need to come together and fight this out.

3. We need the channel to realize the power of our unity for United we stand, divided we fall. Let’s not believe in any speculation and do our bit and appreciate the show and ensure a long run for it ! The cast and crew are BRILLIANT AND SO LOVING, we need to do this for them, if not for us.

4. am attaching a link here of sample mail to star plus and the production house. Kindly take 5 minutes out of your day, copy paste the mail to the Id provided. Let us inundate their inbox with the LOVE that we have for our show. ( tag Hotstar and Star in appreciation posts / tweets)

5. Also, everyone who is in India, just switch on your tv at 6.55 till 7.35 every single day without fail. If all of us do our bit, NO ONE CAN TAKE OUR SHOW AWAY FROM US!

Let us DO THIS GUYS , for our ShaKhi, for the entire cast and crew, who deserve it ALL.

The underlying message, modern story telling, cinematography and pace of the story makes it class apart.

The protagonists Shaurya and Anokhi are so well written and performed by KV and Deba. Even supporting protagonists are phenomenal and well written such as Astha , Shaan , Devi , Tej, Alok, babli and ACP ahir's. The story is so intriguing that we are GLUED TO THIS SHOW.

I’ve never seen this crackling chemistry between the leads! Its so unreal that spmetimes we hold our breath during their scenes.

The women empowernment centric story is what makes us watch and connect to this show along with chemistry between the leads. Loving every bit of it this show can bevome more successful and popular provided its PROMOTED WELL.

The LACK of promos on tv is AFFECTING THE AUDIENCE BASE. New viewers don't get to know about the upcoming of the show hence the show is suffering in terms of TRPS

I got hooked to the show by watching the riots promo it was so aesthetically pleasing.

WE REQUEST YOU TO GIVE A NEW PROMO ON TV.

I am a viewer from __________________ country and I can totally vouch that the show will bring in A LOT OF POPULARITY FOR THE CHANNEL GLOBALLY.

So the channel must give IT A FAIR CHANCE AND see how we viewers watch the show MULTIPLE TIMES ON HOTSTAR

Dear all Forum Members

The TRPs are on a dip. Promos is the thing that will help the show gain more viewership.

• I am writing this post to request you all to please write mails to Star Plus.
  All you have to copy paste the format given by the TM and mail them on the IDs mentioned by her. Please don’t forget to write your name along.

• You can write your own reasons of loving the show.

• Mail the channel and the production each day. Spam them with appreciation mails if possible.

• I know most of us do not have a Twitter account but all of us have an Instagram handle. Kindly request the channel to release a promo for the show as it is the need of the hour.

• Please visit the Youtube channel of Star Plus and like and comment on all the precaps uploaded by the channel. Write appreciating comments as well as request comments for the promos.

There have been shows on the channel that have always been under the scanner or not given enough attention to. The news of them being axed kept floating every now and then but the FD did not lose hope and fan power ke aage Sitara had to bow down and those shows had a very good run with 500 or so episodes. If all of us here do our bit instead of being dependent on people on other platforms, we will only be contributing to the saving of our show and finally getting the much needed promotion this brilliant show deserves. I am not at all saying that the show is going anywhere but at the end of the day, promo chahiye channel se aur jab tak hum nahi batayenge channel ko ki we want the promotion and we love this show, they won’t wake up from the deep slumber they are in.

Its not going anywhere we are just showering our love for the show and showing our support.

See even if the show is not going off air what is the harm in asking for promotions .And to be honest the ratings are not great and if rival shows keep increasing their ratings then it's obvious that there will be pressure from star to increase ratings .If star gives us promotions then there are very high chances that the ratings will improve and the show can carry on without any drastic change to storyline.

It might go off air in the next couple of months since star is already in the process of launching other shows and it has just the 11 pm timeslot free and also the ratings are not great .If the ratings improve then they won't and for ratings to improve we need promotions.

Thanks dear for the information. Just dropped them email and DM them on IG's as well. Today onwards it is going to be my daily routine to mail and message them regularly.
