The fourth answer was as we all expected. But I was expecting something more complicated, like allizzwell said in one posts that wife is the most simplest answer. But sigh the fourth question is the most easiest one.

I believe she's happy that Ahilya understood that she will be Khanderao's shadow no matter what she does, her talents won't overshadow Khanderao.

You or Myrah said in one of the posts that this was an indirect way of discouraging her from studying.

So does this mark a turning point in saas bahu relationship or is this another ploy on Gautama Bai’s part? I mean they’ve shown enough typical saas bahi drama and realized that the show is not about that.

Shown kya, itna drag kiya hai and yet here I am wanting to know what happens next. Only watched the eps where Ahilya gave the answers which is like one episode a week.

However according to the original story, Ahilya’s father teaches her to read and write and she is fluent in both by the age of 8 when Malhar Rao selects her as his DIL. And Khanderao has 9 other wives man. Do you guys think they’ll show them like they showed 3 other wives of Malhar Rao. I mean, only Dwarka Bai is given a significant role in the show to add to the drama.

I don't think the saas-bahu drama saga is going to end anytime soon. Gautama has a lot to understand and grow as a character, if the makers wish to grow her otherwise they can turn her completely negative.

Regarding the nine wives, let's see what the makers show, but it's quite debatable. Maybe the makers could show his concubines.

But though parchayi, she said she has an identity. So it means she can study right. I am not able to understand GB trying to dissuade her studies by asking her this question.
