Where do I start? I thought I'd watch these episodes knowing that there is going to be unbearable drama, but I should take it lightly, understanding it's a copy paste. But I feel incredibly triggered, especially by the cheap and disgusting behaviour of Patralekha and her "BEST FRIEND" IPS Virat Chavan.
How does Virat not ask the same question in his mind that Sai asked - how did Patralekha know about Virat arguing with Sai and going out with a pillow and blanket? How the hell does he DARE to stand there and mouth dialogues to his mother IN FRONT OF HIS WHOLE FAMILY about how his wife (who was already under the pump because of his interfering badtameez sh*tty elders) needs lessons on how to live in a family. Did he forget what Sai said to KBA after that woman was shouting and creating a scene at a 10 year old child's birthday party over what a somewhat mentally challenged person said - when HE went to call her for cutting the cake? She said that he will fulfill his vow to her. How can he mistake what she heard then? Why can't he open his damn mouth and say something? He just said the previous day that she is the reason his family is one again and his sister got her share of happiness. From her being right she became wrong again because she questioned him about something which is true and made him feel guilty - and she implied something that no one knows yet is true?
How dare THAT WOMAN put her vile hands on Sai to separate her from her own husband, again in front of the entire family? She asked her if she wanted nurse fees. Arre - she is not shameless like you. She doesn't live off the family as the wife of one son, hoping for an EMA with another married son. She pays for herself and she lives her life with the dignity that you obviously lack - and she still gets questioned about it. This is not the first or second time that woman has implied that Sai is after Virat's money or doesn't care about him or is selfish. And he chose to stay mum this time also. What happened to all his promises when he went to GC to get her back and said his family will behave properly with her? One person calls her "jungli mulgi", two criminal sh*theads who should be in jail call her "aye ladki", one person raises questions about her father's upbringing and one more feeds off the drama and wants to throw away the TVs. And of course there is the woman who told Sai's own husband that Sai is a thorn in her flesh - and Sai's husband who knows what that woman has in her heart and still chooses to show his anger against Sai for her "behudgi". What THAT WOMAN did is not acceptable. My blood is just boiling.
I was not very in favour of the open household drama - as I was not in favour of the neighbourhood drama. But the way both played out - as Sai said - pani sar ke upar jaa chuka hai. Now it's time to bring this all out - as she said - sabko shauk hai is parivar mein to listen to private conversations - so why not have this one also in front of them? If anyone else had bothered to go out to call Patralekha and Virat for the cake cutting, they would have heard their dear darling chaheeti bahu doing vahayad ghatiyapan. Ridiculous.
Three things I want to see immediately - 1. Sai leaves the house and Virat regrets each minute and each second of it. 2. Virat starts calling Patralekha Vahini or atleast maintaining some kind of boundary line with her - because it is clear she is a toxic and dangerous person 3. Samrat comes back and validates Sai's belief and accusations - because they will definitely atleast believe him hopefully. Enough is enough. I won't be interested in watching this kind of toxic drama full time. As it is, it disturbs me a lot.
Coming to acting - by God, Ayesha ROCKED today. There are times in the past where I felt she was not upto the mark, but today she was on point in every expression, every hurt look she shot at Virat, her dialogues - everything. Neil looked very off - maybe he himself could not related to how spineless this disgusting ML is. And the so-called third lead - she is a different level of acting that no one can aspire to. Let her or anyone from the cast try to justify the actions of KBA under the name of love. She will get blasted today.
The main problem, as I see it, is the writing - either copy paste fully or take inspiration and modify. The second one is what most other shows copied from the Bengali ones do. I watch two more of them on this channel - one the TRP topper and another an online favourite with lower TRPs but with a different soch. I don't know Bengali but I have seen a good bit of the OG shows for both and they are really not that great. But the Hindi versions have strengthened their characters so beautifully. This is not to compare really, but to say it is possible to remake a show well from another language.
I wish Sai had a husband who understood her trauma and did not leave an 19 year old girl alone to fight her own battles against a bunch of criminals and his ex-whatever who is also supposedly his best friend and his sister in law in name. Waiting for things to stretch to their limit (like Virat wants) and break - so that maybe something new can be truly formed finally. And hope IPS Virat Chavan - who should have been writing an FIR against his family for mental torture and physical manhandling of his wife - atleast opens his mouth.
