This is a celebration thread as hamare pyaar chaand ne aaj pehla kadam uthaya apni mom ke saath ek normal relationship ke liye and most importantly he is doing this not just for his wife but for himself as well..

He genuinely wants to move on and get over the pain, hurt, insecurities that have been weighing him down for 25 years.. The 4 year old boy who was left behind is creating his own path for happiness..

He asked permission to talk to her.. She was genuinely surprised to see him back and him asking her permission to talk..

She never expected to see her son so soon again because she had underestimated the efforts and love he is putting in his relationship and life..

He asked her for a charger.. Although it was just for his phone, it was symbolic.. He was asking her for something for the 1st time in his life and their relationship which had reached a stalemate was getting recharged slowly but for a good ending..

She thought he will again ask her to come back with him, create a fake mother-son relation again, but he surprised her..

He wanted to remove the root of all their issues- the anger and pain.. He didn't want to go over what happened for years but wanted a fresh start..

The memories that were hurting him for years, he was ready to let go of them slowly and steadily..

He wanted to know about his parents.. Both were a mystery to him, one because she was away from his world, other because he was in his own world.. But he was curious about what they had been and how they had been..

She was getting to share her happy times with someone close to her heart..

She was getting back the son she had lost due to her decisions and incapabilities..

He wanted to live the 25 years he missed.. He wanted new memories to replace the old ones that were hurting him..

Someone said him for the first time in his life that his happiness was paramount..

He was used to people making him do things for their happiness and take decisions for him when they didn't even try to understand his needs.. She was a welcome surprise who understood him and encouraged him to go for what he wanted..

They shared their love for Spiderman and Chinese.. He was more like his mother than he could have ever imagined..

The woman who was away for the most of his life had still left her traces in him.. Theirs may not be a healthy mother-son relationship already but what they were sharing wasn't forced or tainted..

She knew he would miss his Anokhi.. She realised the depth of his love and attachment.. She was teasing him like a friend..

He was happy and surprised to have someone who understood him or was starting to understand him..

He was building a new world for himself- a happy and genuine one where he would get the unconditional love and care that he craved and deserved..

Jiggy! What a wonderful post! It was wonderful to watch the scene between mother and son. The whole sequence was so good and it really shows what a long way Shaurya has come as a person! I love the way you talked about the charger scene and him asking for some thing from his mother the first time and that being a phone charger to recharge his relationship! Wow 👏. Don’t know if the makers meant it to be that way but I love how the FD looks into these little things and gather so much of meaning out of it! ❤️

We know Shaurya's not all healed and they're not about to sing kumbaya. But the steps he took were huge.

Aastha dared to tease him like only Kanchan and Anokhi so far can. Aastha told him her happiness is in his happiness.

I'm so invested in this relationship that to see a glimpse of healing was paramount!!

I missed the symbolic meaning of charger.......thanks for making that connection. I'm glad we have a variety of brains in this fandom that makes these little things make sense!

The best and highlighted of the episode was maa bete ka scene.

He is genuinely stepping forward for this relationship...how awkwardly cute this maa bete ki jodi..I can see it shaurya will love aastha to bits just need time and it has started to work.
